Riffraff Diesel Billet Compressor Wheel 94-03

We are now offering our 2nd Generation performance billet compressor wheels for the 94-03 7.3L Powerstrokes. This wheel provides more than just anti-surge like the standard Borg Warner aka Whistlin' Wheel, Anti-Surge Wheel, Banks Wheel and other 5/5 blade compressor wheels. Because of its lighter mass it spools faster, while providing more CFM flow and boost pressure. We usually see a 5-7 PSI gain in boost, as well as less smoke, better drivability and quicker response. By incorporating new leading edge technology, metallurgy, and the new 4/4 blade design we are seeing an average of 17.4 hp and 38.7tq gain on stock injectors with just a swap of the wheel. We recommend balancing the rotating assembly if available, though the wheel is already dual plane balanced.

Fitment: 1994-2003 stock TP38/GTP38 including van turbo

    This thing is sweet!

Almost too pretty to install but I went ahead and put it on my turbo anyway and oh baby! This thing spools faster, sounds meaner and moves more air than the stock wheel. What's not to like about that? Between this and the EBPV delete I did, I picked up 3-4 PSI at 3000 RPM with this wheel over the stock one. What's not to like!?

    Boost and no lag

I am coming from my last truck having a wicked wheel. I think this wheel blows it out of the water and I feel that my truck spools up faster and is much louder. It sounds great and was one of my first mods done.

Cant say enough good things about this thing, wasnt sure if it would be worth the money but it is. Quite a bit more mid range power and and sounds cooler if your into the turbo whistle thing. I would strongly recommend this to anyone with a stroke.

    great find

Clay twisted my arm a bit, and I ended up purchasing this wheel in lieu of the anti-surge wheel (thanks Clay). I paired this wheel with the IH up pipe kit and the banks wastegate actuator. I've gotta say that I am very pleased. I've just gotten the vehicle back together and have only taken it for a short drive. Throttle response is crisp, turbo spool occurs at a much lower RPM, solid power across the rpm band, and the "surge" is gone. Can't wait to see wow the truck performs when towing. Thank you Riffraff.

    Well worth it!

Picked one up, along with a ebpv delete, intake and rebuild kit. Truck spools much quicker, less smoke, and picked up quite a bit of power as well. Sounds and performs great!

Great upgrade especially for high mileage motor!!

My 2001 7.3 has just under 300k on it.. it's got a intake and mild programmer (nothing special) and 4" turbo back exhaust with not muffler.. I pull a 22ft boat and a 21ft trailer with a 40hp JD tractor all the time.. and this wheel made a great deal of difference on top end spool (no more turbo surge) spools a great deal better than the stock wheel while loaded.. don't really concern myself with watching fuel mileage so not sure if it will make a difference there. As far as sound goes it don't seem much different at idle and low rpm take off than my stock wheel... BUT at high rpms sounds great has Slight whistle I can hear in the cab but not like the WW on my buddies truck which really gets annoying on long interstate trips pulling a load.. over all I'm extremely happy with the product all the way around and it wasn't at all hard to install myself..

Big thanks to riffraff diesel products!!!

    Compression wheel

Was machined very well and looked to me good quality. Noticeable proformance increase, not much boost loss. Didn't even really know I was getting surge until I installed this wheel and felt the difference from stock. Very pleased with purchase.

    Worth every penny!!!

Short back story - back in November, I installed an expensive, what was supposed to be the granddaddy of all drop in OBS turbos when I installed my RiffRaff up pipes. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed. It spooled a little earlier and sounded cool, but otherwise didn't perform any better than my stock, used and abused 280k mile turbo. So, I paired this wheel with the 1.0 exhaust housing and a new Garrett center cartridge, and all I can say is holy crap!! For reference, my truck has stage 1 injectors, electric fuel system, t500 HPOP, intake and exhaust, and a 6 position chip and sits on 35" tires. I took it easy for about 10 miles to make sure everything was good, and then slowed to about 30 and matted the pedal. I was doing 80 in a matter of seconds, I haven't had a stupid grin stuck on my face like that in a long time!! The boost was instant and she just took off. If you're thinking about buying this wheel, do it!!
