Riffraff Diesel Billet Compressor Wheel 94-03
We are now offering our 2nd Generation performance billet compressor wheels for the 94-03 7.3L Powerstrokes. This wheel provides more than just anti-surge like the standard Borg Warner aka Whistlin' Wheel, Anti-Surge Wheel, Banks Wheel and other 5/5 blade compressor wheels. Because of its lighter mass it spools faster, while providing more CFM flow and boost pressure. We usually see a 5-7 PSI gain in boost, as well as less smoke, better drivability and quicker response. By incorporating new leading edge technology, metallurgy, and the new 4/4 blade design we are seeing an average of 17.4 hp and 38.7tq gain on stock injectors with just a swap of the wheel. We recommend balancing the rotating assembly if available, though the wheel is already dual plane balanced.
Fitment: 1994-2003 stock TP38/GTP38 including van turbo

Stopped surge and increased boost on my '99.5 7.3
I have 218k miles on my '99 F350. Turbo surge was getting really bad. Especially when up-shifting. While towing uphill the turbo would surge constantly.
It took me about 2 hours to install this wheel, without removing the turbo. Not a difficult job, just clumsy to reach some of the bolts. Turbo surge is gone. Low-end power feels better. I get more boost all around. There's a bit of a whistle under hard acceleration and while towing, but it's not irritating. I like it. My wife says it kind of sounds like a jet engine.
My stock wheel was 125 grams. The RiffRaff wheel is 100g. Doesn't sound like much, but I think that difference does help the turbo spool up faster.
All around this was a great upgrade and well worth the investment. Now I need a performance chip to really open things up. -
great improvement over stock
just installed this wheel along with a new turbo cartrige, frx, cac boot kit, & ocr from RiffRaff, after getting the air worked out of my fuel and oil lines i can tell a big improvement, builds up boost faster, has more power, no more turbo surge, i expected the whistle to be a little louder but as far as the performance its awesome, thanks Clay for the great products and always answering any questions

This my third PSD
Ive always had this wheel on my two previous PSD. This time i just installed the wheel without a tuner. And now, i will be ok without a tuner. It made the throttle response so much better.

Surge done gone!
Works as advertised. No more turbo surge,increased boost pressure. Buddy has a stock wheel with a bent vane and is going to replace it before it breaks off and causes problems. Aked me if he should get the banks or RiffRaff. Told him definitely RiffRaff we are expecting delivery tomorrow.

Good purchase
Arrived faster than expected, easy to install. Did not change the sound of the whistle as much as I had thought but noticed way better throttle response and faster spool up.

Woke up my Excursion!
I bought this along with FRx, fuel bowl rebuild kit, Riff Raff boots, and aih delete. Although my turbo was missing the orings from previous owners install it helped my truck out a ton! More top end power and lower egts.

Big return on small investment
Recently installed my new RR billet wheel, took me about an hour start to finish to complete. Very simple install. Noticed an immediate change in the sound of the turbo at idle and definately increased whistle under acceleration. Smoother acceleration thru the band, spools up quicker at lower rpm for more boost thru the band. Zero surge! Highly recommend this wheel. Quiet at cruise speeds b it sounds like a jet taking off. Awesome investment!
