OCR - Overboost Code Regulator™ for Ford 7.3L 99-03
The purpose of the OCR™ is to regulate the presence of an "overboost code" that sets the Service Engine Soon light and stop the PCM from defueling at 23 psi of boost. We are the first to utilize a pre-set custom regulator that will allow your MAP Sensor to see up to 22psi before holding it there. With the use of a pre-set regulator it doesn't allow there to be human error when setting it or to accidently be adjusted out of the correct setting. By using this highly accurate regulator your performance will not be hampered or degraded. You can perform this same mod your self with a compressor regulator from a hardware store, but from experience we have learned that these models can be extemely inaccurate at low psi levels. Because of the inaccuracy and inability to hold the pressure at the same psi you end up adjusting it down there by losing performance. Our OCR™ was made to prevent overboost, but it doesn't enhance performance, it allows the computer to perform past what would normally be an overboost condition. If you aren't building over 23+ and experiencing defueling then this product isn't what you are looking for.
To make this a true bolt on product, and not just a cheaper bent hanger, we include a laser cut, black anodized custom bracket that moves your MAP sensor and allows for a clean looking install.

No Worries!
Works as it should! Constantly sees 30+ psi been running it for over a yr have had no issues, keeps my CEL off for overboost! Clean look, looks factory!

I had this installed on my Excursion and now having one installed on my son’s Excursion
I’ve had all kinds of Riffraff installed on my Excursion this year and (boy oh boy) ! ! ! It is turned into an amazing vehicle!!! Single shot injectors, filter kit, fuel rail crossover, overboost code regulator, filter cover, and many other products. I love it!!! I had one hiccup but only because I gave the wrong code for the ECM . Even with that I was able to tow disaster relief trailers all over at least 10 thousand miles!!! I am blown away!!!

High Quality!
I needed a way to keep the PCM from setting a soft code and de-fueling since I was installing a Borg Warner SXE turbo and T4 kit on my 7.3 diesel. The OCR was a great way to accomplish this and keep the truck happy when boosting the new SXE turbo.

This is one of the first parts I realized I needed after installing my t-4 turbo kit. Half throttle and the truck was setting an overboost code. I looked through the available options from the different vendors and settled on the riffraff version. The install is very clean thanks to the new bracket you get to replace the factory bracket. The regulator is small and doesn’t stand out and looks very clean. And the best part is it works every time straight out of the package. Not only will this remove the overboost code that can be tuned out but it will stop the map sensor from being damaged due to too much pressure. No adjusting, just remove the old bracket and put the new one on. Hook up the hoses and plug the map sensor back in and you’re good to go.

Looks sharp, does the job
With a GTP38R, 238/100 injectors, DP Tuner, and all the other fun stuff on my truck I was tripping the CEL constantly for overboost which causes the truck to de-fuel. Not helpful when passing people on a hill with 10,000 pounds hanging on my hitch. This took care of that so now just have to watch the boost gauge and not float my heads...
