OCR - Overboost Code Regulator™ for Ford 7.3L 99-03
The purpose of the OCR™ is to regulate the presence of an "overboost code" that sets the Service Engine Soon light and stop the PCM from defueling at 23 psi of boost. We are the first to utilize a pre-set custom regulator that will allow your MAP Sensor to see up to 22psi before holding it there. With the use of a pre-set regulator it doesn't allow there to be human error when setting it or to accidently be adjusted out of the correct setting. By using this highly accurate regulator your performance will not be hampered or degraded. You can perform this same mod your self with a compressor regulator from a hardware store, but from experience we have learned that these models can be extemely inaccurate at low psi levels. Because of the inaccuracy and inability to hold the pressure at the same psi you end up adjusting it down there by losing performance. Our OCR™ was made to prevent overboost, but it doesn't enhance performance, it allows the computer to perform past what would normally be an overboost condition. If you aren't building over 23+ and experiencing defueling then this product isn't what you are looking for.
To make this a true bolt on product, and not just a cheaper bent hanger, we include a laser cut, black anodized custom bracket that moves your MAP sensor and allows for a clean looking install.

OCR - Overboost Code Regulator
Produce works exactly as designed. the quality of construction is outstanding. Not some cheap stamped metal and thin hoses. One alert to those of you that have the Banks Engine brake, you will have to spend some time relocating and rewiring the Bank's parts in order to install the OCR.

Best one on the market
Hands down this boost fooler is the best on the market. I had one for dieselsite for a few years and it seemed like it was doing the job. Decided to go for a cleaner look so I purchased this one. Of course it looks much better than just hanging on your MAP line. But I didn't realize that the dieselsite was just leaking boost off. I actually picked up about 1.5 psi on my CTS2 just from running this OCR. I am now a believer in the quality these guys have and I will be back.

Notice an increase in performance almost immediately super easy to install and it has a nice clean look in your engine bay great design

A must have
This unit is of very high quality and much more accurate blowing off excess boost spikes to the MAP sensor. The bracket is made in a very nice way of mounting out of the way compared to other home made units I have seen. Even remounts the MAP sensor off to the side in a very clean manner.

Boost fooler
Install was quick and easy. No issues with engine lights and such. Not sure what im getting for boost psi now, given i dont have a monitor setup in my truck yet. But paired with the john wood valve body, hydra chip, and a 4” turbo back exhaust just installed the 7.3 has really come to life crazy $#+! Thanks again riff raff

Overboost regulator
I was getting a boost code every time I pulled my travel trailer up a hill and the performance would drop. This eliminated the code being set and the PCM cutting performance

Perfect Solution
I stumbled on this while searching through google for an overboost controller. After seeing lots of others, this is the only one with a clean, engineered solution. I don't know how other companies think a $8 air compressor regulator with a junk bracket is worth $55+ but I am glad I found this. I highly recommend to get rid of your SES light for over boost P1249. Easy install, and looks so professional when installed.
