Riffraff Diesel Cam Position Sensor CPS 1994-2003 7.3L

Remember the original International "Black CPS" that originally came with the Powerstroke? Your engine idled smoother, had better cylinder contribution, and overall better drivability but unfortunately it was discontinued almost 20 years ago. The industry has been forced to make due with the updated "Grey CPS" and sacrifice those original attributes until now...
We have developed a brand new CPS that has all the original qualities, with the addition of 20 year newer chip and sensor technology! With this new technology and manufacturing knowledge we have been able to accurately increase the signal strength and clarity at more than double the air gap and rpm the original "Black CPS" was able to sense with no degradation of signal. This allows for more realized benefits and reliability than even the original "Black CPS was able to provide.
- ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 production facility
- Sensors are function tested on an actual 7.3L Cam gear for 100% accuracy
- Assembly process is re-validated biannually on all sub-components

RiffRaff cam position sensor
It works exactly as described. Ran a contribution test before and after. Considerably more equal across the board. Truck starts quicker and runs smoother at idle.

New technology makes a difference
My 99.0001 F-250 always loped after I let off the accelerator. This higher-quality, newer technology sensor resolved that issue.

RiffRaff CPS upgrade unit
Impressive. Quieter and smoother running engine in my 246k mile 1997 7.3 PSD. Worth every penny.

CPS?
Big improvement on starts. Romps soon after the key is turned, eliminating longer turn overs. Very happy with it

The long waited update we have been needing!
It is well worth the wait time for the production for these! Installation is a breeze, and results are instant. Right away in starting, it took less then 3 revolutions on the cranking for start up in cold temps for fire up!
On idle, far smoother then OEM! Keeping idle dialed in right at 750 with no engine harmonics distorting. As wild as it is, it quieted the engine considerably! I have always wondered what a 7.3 sounds like without the normal injector tapping on idle... Now I finally know! It sounds and feels perfect!
Throttle response pepped up! Take off from a stop is much nicer and quicker! On top of quicker acceleration, the pick up follows all the way through. The best way to describe it was the load you have on RPMs increasing speed suddenly, the turbo seems to time a lot better with the throttle load, no delay in beginning spool up, as if the PCM gets a clearer signal to roll the boost faster.
Any random injector misses dissapear all the way through acceleration. I have to find out the fuel economy benefits, but as for now driveability just becomes far more pleasurable and modern! -
Riffraff CPS
Installed this CPS along with the HPX and FRX at the same time. My truck runs quieter and smoother! After reading a few reviews about the CPS being difficult to install, I made sure the o-ring was lubed well, got it started along with the bolt and slowly tightened the bolt until CPS was fully seated. Easy install. The previous CPS was the black with purple o-ring and I pushed that easily in by hand. Haven’t been able to test if there is a fuel mileage difference yet.

Cps
Didn’t see any difference when putting the new one in.

Riffraff cps
Truck had no issues to begin with other than old cps o ring leaking and runs great with the updated cps also. Using the old one as a spare. Time will tell, but am sure it will outlive me

Perfect upgrade/replacement
Installed in 1996 7.3 in about 15 minutes. Truck fired right up afterwards and seems to idle better and run well.
