RDP Plenum Reinforcing Inserts™ - Ford 7.3L 99.5-03

These billet 7075 Aluminum plenum inserts are a Riffraff Diesel original design and are patent pending. They are made to allow you to clamp down as hard as needed with T-bolt clamps so that you don't have any boost leaks. Fix your bent and crushed stock plenums with our Inserts as well. This is a budget friendly option to buying full billet plenums. Easy install, no special tools needed.

These were designed so as to add the least restriction possible while providing more than adequate structure for clamping. The Plenum Inserts have been machined to within .164" of the OEM diameter so there will not be any measurable affect on EGT's or cfm flow.

These are sold in a pair.

    Amazing piece

    I have a 2000 7.3 and was doing all new intake and boots, this little plenum ring fit excellently and is 100%worth the money. You can really get a good clamping surface with this paired with the Riff Raff intake plenum boots. VERY HIGH QUALITY. Would buy if again if i ever got another 7.3

    Before I got these I kept having leaks at the intake plenum. No matter what boots I would use the hose clamps would always come loose, and I would get leaks out of the intake plenum boots. I couldn't use t-bolts because I would collapse the intake plenum. Once I added these inserts I was able to get rid of the cheap hose clamps and use the T-bolt clamps. I've had these on my truck going on 2yrs and haven't had to worry about any of my past problems. Another great product sold by Riffraff.

    I had a pool of oil on the top of the engine. I cleaned it all up, replaced all CAC hoses with new RiffRaft hoses and inserted the reinforcements, tighten everything down. Not a bite of oil 500 miles later. Who knows how long they had been leaking.

    Couldn't be more stoked on the rings, these along with the lower boots seal up great, boost leaks are a thing of the past!!!!

    These are a tight fit in the factory plenum. After a little persuasion they are in and are not coming out. Good upgrade for the thin plenum

    Used these when I did boost system upgrade, fit very well, added strength to a weak spot. Torqued down hard on the boots with no worries.
