OCR - Overboost Code Regulator™ for Ford 7.3L 99-03
The purpose of the OCR™ is to regulate the presence of an "overboost code" that sets the Service Engine Soon light and stop the PCM from defueling at 23 psi of boost. We are the first to utilize a pre-set custom regulator that will allow your MAP Sensor to see up to 22psi before holding it there. With the use of a pre-set regulator it doesn't allow there to be human error when setting it or to accidently be adjusted out of the correct setting. By using this highly accurate regulator your performance will not be hampered or degraded. You can perform this same mod your self with a compressor regulator from a hardware store, but from experience we have learned that these models can be extemely inaccurate at low psi levels. Because of the inaccuracy and inability to hold the pressure at the same psi you end up adjusting it down there by losing performance. Our OCR™ was made to prevent overboost, but it doesn't enhance performance, it allows the computer to perform past what would normally be an overboost condition. If you aren't building over 23+ and experiencing defueling then this product isn't what you are looking for.
To make this a true bolt on product, and not just a cheaper bent hanger, we include a laser cut, black anodized custom bracket that moves your MAP sensor and allows for a clean looking install.

This is one quality piece!!
This is one of the nicest aftermarket pieces I have seen and installed on my truck. I have run all kinds of tunes all without an overboost eliminator. Needless to say my truck would constantly de-rate due to overboost CEL. Not anymore I am pushing over 35PSI without any more CEL issues. So far it works flawlessly and looks great doing it. The quality of this piece is just phenomenal!

Used on an OBS to fix bucking.
Map sensor was going out of range around 30psi boost causing hard bucking, this fixed it.

Clean install and works as advertised
Very clean install with the included bracket. Works like its supposed to - no magic and no BS - just keeps the boost on and keeps the MAP from throwing SES codes.

NO MORE SOFT CODES FOR OVERBOOST ON MODDED E99
Installed really smoothly and easily and most importantly it kept the truck from throwing a Service Engine Soon (SES light) and a soft code. I have the Riffraff Billet wheel in a 1.0 housing with a non-EBPV pedestal and can boost around 30 PSI on my E99 7.3. I also have a Hydra Chip with custom tunes, so de-fueling wasn't an issue but the SES was annoying every time I gave her full throttle. This solved the problem, very happy with it.

Over boost for 7.3 2001
I installed this very easily. Riff raff gives awesome instructions. But I didn't notice a difference. My truck never threw an overboost code, so that would most likely be why. But with future plabs of pushing higher boost. This should help keep it from throwing any.
