99-01 Ford Powerstroke: Is you underhood #30 30amp fuse blown, no WTS dash indicater lamp? Chances are you old style heating element has shorted out and taken the fuse with it. This 30 amp fuse also powers the ECM and the truck will not start without it. You can temporarly get by with unplugging the electrical connector from the fuel bowl and replace the 30amp fuse until your new heating element arrives.

    Fuel Bowl heater

Posted by Scott on Mar 29th 2021

Cleaned the bowl and found rust, crud, and broken pieces of the stock heater element at the bottom. The heater was also unplugged by the original owner. After everything was spotless, I plugged this in and screwed it down. Works perfect with no blown fuses. Thanks Riff Raff.

Just the one I needed to complete the fuel bowl and a great price.

So easy my 12 year old did it

Posted by Travis on Mar 13th 2020

Exactly what I needed when fuse 30 popped and my truck saw fit to stop on the road. After some troubleshooting identifying the problem I ordered the element and had it the same week. I had my boy under the hood to fix it in about 30 minutes.

Nice upgrade to old heater, seems more heavy duty/less flimsy. Easy install.

    Seems like it helped

Posted by Travis on Dec 30th 2019

Old one had been disconnected for a few years and I’ve had trouble with cold starts in the last year and this seems to have helped some but didn’t fix my weak glow plugs and injectors. Very happy with my purchase

Genuine factory International fuel bowl heater.

Posted by Ron Lines on Apr 23rd 2019

This part is the cheapest one out there AND it is a genuine International factory part. I couldn't be happier. I had the older model 'wire' style ('99 early 250 diesel) and this replaces that old moster perfectly VERY high quality. Works perfectly. You'll never replace it again! GREAT COMPANY TO DEAL WITH.

My original Navistar element lasted 18 years, Don't buy aftermarket, unless you like to have problems.

Definite improvement over the old style element.

Posted by Jared Recasens on Dec 14th 2017

International factory part; recently replaced this on my 95 PSD, this will definitely fit the old style “tall” fuel bowl found in the OBS Powerstrokes. Remember the fuel filter stem is LEFT HAND THREAD; fairly simple to install; “tall style” housing will not need the screws, and the heater element will have to be indexed at a certain position to clear a casting nub inside the bowl. Improved fuel, and economy and way better cold starts. Arrived fast, best price around for factory part! GOOD JOB RIFF RAFF.
