Complete CAC Intercooler Boot Kit Ford 7.3L Powerstroke 99-03

This complete kit consists of 6 pieces of 4-ply Aramid reinforced silicone hoses that are specially made for Riffraff Diesel to withstand extreme temperatures to approximately 500 degrees F (vs. standard couplers that are good to 350 degrees F) and have been tested up to 150 psi working pressure.

Available in Blue, Red, and Black.

You will need to measure the inlet and outlet size of your intercooler to know what you have.  We do not make a universal boot that fit both because fitment should be snug.  Your metal intercooler tubes are 3" on all years so you don't even need a tape measure, just take off the boot, flip it around and see if it will fit on the inlet/outlet of the intercooler.  If you need help with sizing please give us a call to ensure you get what you need.

We offer Early 99 plenum boots as well.  These can be identified by the small 2" plenum inlet where the 99.5-03 have a 3" plenum intake and the truck production date would be 12/7/98 or before.  If you need help with sizing please give us a call to ensure you get what you need. We also offer clamp kits if you are still running your stock Ford clamps.

    Night and Day

Replaced the original boots on my 2000 F350, Spent majority of the time cleaning oil blowby from the old ones. Duplicated a trip I had made a couple days before, and picked up almost a mile per gallon. Could see and hear the difference in how she ran, and on the boost guage.

    They really hold their own.

Posted by Rich on Jun 29th 2014

I installed these 18 months ago, and they sure do help with making my engine bay a desert (no oil residue). I forgot to tighten my passenger-side boot clamp one time, and it held in place until I passed 30 PSI. 30 PSI without a clamp - can yours do that?

Advice: Either get the intake plenum reinforcement rings, or just upgrade to the billet intake plenums. If you're going big with a turbo and injectors, the stock plenum likely won't hold anyway (mine didn't). Don't forget to order 4 T-bolt clamps for the lower spider boots, the OEMs are cheap worm drive clamps.

    New Boots!

Posted by Corey on Jun 23rd 2014

Ordered these to replace my stock boots that had 213K on them. Great fitment, much better seal-especially at the y-pipe to plenums. Definitely would purchase again if the need should ever arise.
    thanks

    High Quality

    Posted by Natron31 on May 27th 2014

I have been overbuilding things my entire life - why take the chance of something being just good enough? This must have beenn the approach in designing these CAC boots. They fit perfectly and add additional engagement on the plenums. Be sure to order the T-Bolt clamps offered through Riffraff or you will struggle to install them because they are so much heavier walled boots. I couldn't be happier with the quality and construction. These boots make the OE boots look like absolute junk!

    Freakin Beefy!

The only thing that would put this over the top us if it had new clamps. These boots are at least twice as thick as OEM.

    Very thick and stiff

Posted by Jason on May 7th 2014

These boots are really thick; which is probably good for longevity, but makes them really hard to bend. And some flexibility is really nice when installing. Trying to use original clamps is quite a challenge also. Get some longer ones and save yourself some headaches. The price and quality are quite good.

    Great Product, Great Price

Obviously a serious upgrade from stock. That's why I bought them. These boots are even better than the other options I investigated -- better quality, best price, super customer service. They will eliminate boot expansion and ultimately power loss. Riffraff is the company to buy from.
