I bought these boots to replace my wore out boots with 200,000 miles on them. First opening the box I noticed how great the quality was. They were twice as thick and atleast twice as stiff if not more. They were a little hard to slide on being they were so tight but I likes that they were that tight. The intercooler boots were a little long which I left and slid the intercooler pipe further in the boot to ensure a more secure fit. For anyone thinking about ordering these or anything else from this company do not hesitate. Products and customer service is top notch.

Really like the quality. Length was a bit long where the tubes connect to the intercooler. Had trouble putting the drivers side on. The insulation on the tube had to be trimmed back. Otherwise I did like the product.

These boots are quite better than the factory boots being replaced. The boots being thicker and firmer made for a slightly difficult assembly, but not impossible. Even though the new boots are thicker, I was able to reuse the factory clamps by backing the nut back all the way to the end. The two longest boots from Riffraff (the 3"x3.25" at the intercooler) were 1.5" longer than the factory boots, but the new boots were easily trimmed using a sharp utility knife.
I also purchased and installed the intake plenum inserts and four new T-clamps. They tapped in easily for a firm fit. Excellent reinforcement.

Boots are twice as thick, and stiff as stock. Makes it difficult to install the spider as everything is such a tight fit. Once installed you have confidence that you will have no leaks. Great product. I reccomend new clamps as it is a battle to install the factory clamps with the thicker boots

I used my OEM clamps and had to open them up all the way to get them on. These new boots are thicker and fit tighter. I gained about 3.5 lbs of boost and I did not have any cracks in my old boots. I'm now hitting over 28.5 lbs of boost!

I have a late 99 7.3 powerstroke with stage 2 injectors and a 38r with a 6 pos chip boost at 35 lbs for now an these boots hold up great very well made I got these after I blew my stock boots with the stock turbo I'm very impressed with these boots and the price you can't find a better product or price anywhere
