Stainless Steel HPX - Ford 7.3L Powerstroke (94-97)

The Stainless Steel High Pressure Crossover is meant to allow excess oil pressure to flow between both heads allowing for better supply to the injectors. By allowing the oil to flow to the opposite head, the issue of pressure spikes are less and allow for a smoother idle. We manufacture our own SS HPX lines right here in the USA unlike many companies today that outsource their product lines.

    Easy...

As with all RiffRaff designed / engineered products and tools, this one is first rate, top quality. Most likely the easiest install of any product I have purchased for my truck. My oil supply line was in the way with a clamp which required 'turning the clamp around', but other than that, it literally took no more than 10 minutes. Truck seems quieter (smoother?) at highway speed, but other than that no noticeable changes. (truck was always an easy/quick starter).

    Thank you!

Excellent product, easy installation, great price. Crossover did quiet down motor a little. Starting was definitely quicker. Thanks RiffRaff

Great product. Easy install too! My truck is much smoother at idle and start ups now. And even smother acceleration. Thanks!

    HPX

This product is well built, the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is that I had to bend it to get it to line up with the JIC fittings. I have not noticed much difference in the way the truck runs or sounds, but I honestly haven't driven it much since. The idea of equalizing oil rail pressure makes a lot of sense, so I am happy with the part even if I don't notice a difference.

    Great Quality

Glad I finally did this mod. Noticed a much better idle, and I can see it has smoothed out my ICP graph on my autoenginuity scanner as well.

    Good looking/ working product.

Just installed the ss hpx line looks good works good no leaks. The only bad thing was the bend was not quite right took some words and a little bending to get the threads started. Other than that it's a good product so far.

    Works great as advertised

Just put this on my 94.5 7.3. Idle was a lil smoother, althou it never has been real rough. Also seemed to have a little more "pep" in the throttle too,and seemed to be a little quieter @ highway speed. Fitment was good, a lil tweak to get it to line up just right with the passenger side, otherwise easy install.

    Can't beat this upgrade

Clay is the man!! I love riff raff you have one of the beSt diesel sites on the net hands down with top notch customer service. I ordered the hpx had a really rough idle for some reason (I have 3 7.3l and this truck I ordered it for is the roughest by far at idle it's straight ugly) install was pretty easy had to use a pry bar to help align the bar behind the "y" pipe, startup was instant, idle was significantly more quiet was actually amazed how much it smoothed the engine out. I struggled with the orings on the fittings I over tightened them. Had my 70 year old father call in, Clay answered immediately and helped him through everything and even sent out new oringz personally. So thanks for taking care of my pops and not up selling him. Truly can't speak highly enough of clay of riff raff or his products upstanding man and business.
