Riffraff Diesel High Flow Banjo Bolt Set for Ford 7.3L 94-03
Why bother trying to drill out your stock pot-metal bolts in the cylinder head and break them off while reinstalling? Not to mention a larger hole does not necessarily equal more flow, and can create an incredible amount of turbulence that actually reduces flow to less than stock.
We have engineered a high flow fuel bolt using StressProof® Steel that offers the highest flow possible. By combining a patented, high-end steel with precision flow/port testing we have been able to reduce turbulence, raise flow, and increase bolt strength all at an economically minded price point. Unlike other copies we make our banjo bolts 100% in the USA for quality you can trust.
- Made from Patented StressProof® Steel
- 6x More flow than stock bolts
- Precision machined low restriction ports
- USA Made Viton Oring Leak-Free Seal Included
- 100% Made in the USA
Quantity of 1= 2 banjo bolts

More fuel, more flow = more throttle response and pickup
I did this in conjunction with a complete fuel delivery line replace to -6AN stainless Steel braided line (3/8) and removed check valves at the heads to replace with -6AN/1/8 NPT fittings instead of Riff raff CVD fittings. Used Gasoila thread sealant on the fittings.
WARNING: the check valves into the heads BOTH came out with a little bit of head threads on them. Going back in I had to baby the torque so as not to strip out the head. After 207k of heat, I should have sprayed some WD-40 or PB Blaster on it to make sure they came out easy.
Banjos made things smoother, quieter, more throttle response.
When you take the old Banjos out (mine were only hand tight) you can see the restrictive holes in them. Combine that with more fuel line delivery and it is a world of difference on my 2002 f250 7.3 with 207k on it.
Easy access to the passenger side rear one from under the engine. A little tight but you can get a 1/4 drive socket on it (use the 1/4 drive connector head of the socket only—bare 1/4" socket wrench with no socket attached) and BE FRICKIN careful not to over torque the new ones going back on. I think they are like 8 ft/lbs only.
Driver's side front banjo is pretty easy to access by removing the 4 bolts on the alternator bracket and supporting the alternator. Banjo is is behind the bracket. Gotta release tension on the serpentine belt tensioner before removing the alternator bracket.
I supported the alternator with four bungees suspended from my opened up hood. Worked perfectly. -
Banjo Bolts
Easy to change out, smoothed out the idle.

Great Product
Great quality, and smoothed out the idle some and lowered the engine noise. Would recommend this to anyone with a 7.3L

Well built
Look so much better than stock. Doing mine backwards. Did the CVD fittings when I rebuilt my fuel bowl..should have done the FRX at that time. Did my up-pipes, and got the banjoes. Still no FRX...but that is next on the list. Was easy since I had the down pipe out.

Excellent
I have seen a lot of YouTubers that take a drill to their stock Banjo bolts. Give me a break! Nothing like that will match the quality, strength, and flow capabilities of the Riffraff Banjo Bolts. The install wasn't too bad. Not what I would call fun, just a bit of blind wrenching on the passenger side head and unbolting the Alternator / Power Steering Pump assembly on the drivers side. Put a drain pan under the truck to catch the fuel.

Another Great RiffRaff Product and Experience
I swapped these and the CVD fittings at the same time and it made a great and noticeable difference in how my Excursion runs (I already had the FRX which has been great too). It's quieter, smoother, and the fuel mileage improved a little as well. This actually made such a noticeable difference in how smooth the truck ran that my shop owner and mechanic buddy decided to do it on his trucks after driving mine right after we swapped them. Thanks, Riffraff!

Get 4 and don't stop there!
Very high quality banjo bolts, will cause unbelievable difference in fuel flow, your 7.3 does have 4 of these by the way! Don't do all the work and skip the frx or the cvd fittings! I built my own new flexible stainless fuel lines and didn't end up needing the cvd fittings but get the cvd fittings if your keeping your stock fuel lines, there is no comparison between what ford gave you and what RiffRaff can give you!

Awesome
I put him the high flow banjos,FRx and high flow CVD fitting in my service truck with 373000 miles on it not only did it seem to breath some life into it but also brought engine noise down a great deal
