The Riffraff Diesel coolant filtration system for the Ford 7.3L Powerstroke filters a small amount of coolant with each pass. The Donaldson spin on the filter makes it easy and inexpensive to change coolant as often as you need. Plus, the filters also remove all solid particles. Typically you will use three filters in the first nine months. Once the initial nine months has passed, you will only need to change the filter once a year.

I wish they had one for OBS
I have 2000 7.3 and I love the filter on it. Keeps me calm knowing I don’t have junk in my engine. I just wish they had it for the older trucks.

Thought that I would give it a try
Very easy to install per the RiffRaff detailed instructions. I am looking forward to the future results to see how well this may clean up my son’s 2000 F250 7.3 Powerstroke coolant system. We bought 2 additional filters and plan to change out the first one 3 months from now. If this works, I plan to purchase 2 more kits for my ‘02 and my early ‘99 Superduty’s.

Great filter set up. You do have to build it in a strategic way due to the non-swiveling hoses. And had to shim the mount so it did not touch the air filter housing. Overall very nice.

Great kit everything is high quality. A must for removing silicate fallout and gunk from coolant. Pretty straightforward install. No leaks or issues.

Great investment!
My truck went 240k without any filtration and maybe a handful of flushes in 20 years. Installation was a breeze and after 400 miles on the first filter it was plugged! Crazy how much contamination flows through the cooling system. Buy this kit and make sure to get extra filters, you’ll need em! Worth every penny!

Install and first impressions
Very easy to install only took a few minutes ok may by 30 if you include coolant drain and fill. High quality parts nice strong bracket that has a small bend so it looks like it’s made to fit. Nice and bright anodized color mine was blue. Solid hoses with swivel ends to make fitment easy and quick. Only issue I had was I had a hard time treading the filter on, I think the filter had a burr or was slightly damaged, it was new in a sealed package so it must have came that way from their supplier. With a little efferent I got the thread to start and got the filter on. Have only had if for a few weeks now but I did a coolant flush with new coolant when I did the install and I’ll replace the filter in a few weeks to make sure the system if fully clear. Love it so far.
