We have refined our injector cup/sleeve tools over the last 12 years, using them ourselves and as rental units, and we have now been awarded patents on their design and released them to production. These tools were designed for 7.3L gearheads by 7.3L gearheads.
Unlike our competitors’ cup tools, our design is engineered for efficient, repeated shop use removing and installing the injector cups. We believe removing and installing the injector cups should be a more surgical operation, not something requiring beating cups in with hammers and leaving brass filings from the removal process behind. Thus we have designed our tools with tight tolerances and clean injector bores in mind.
Since we utilize the latest in metallurgical and coating technology it allows us to thread our removal tool into the damaged injector cup without creating any filings or chips to fall into your cylinders. Both our puller and installation tool use bridges that are quickly fastened to the injector mounting holes, eliminating the need to remove your rocker arms and allowing for a faster overall job.
Our Patented install tool is really the breakthrough; rather than hammering on your new cups in tight spaces and hoping they are seated, simply use a socket and allow the tool to press the cup in. The tool allows for a completely seated cup every time; no guessing and no hammering, even on the back cylinders or e-series vans. To ensure our install tool doesn't deform your new cup as our competitors’ tools do, it is machined to engage both the full surface of the cup bottom and the top lip. The tool also features an o-ring as a keeper to allow strategic placement of the cup in the injector bore instead of dropping it in and risking displacement of your sealant. In order to allow the cup to seat without turning in the head, the install tool is engineered to include a ball bearing to prevent cup rotation while being pressed in. All hardware has been coated for rust resistance as well as to achieve a Rockwell hardness of over 62 to ensure a long life.

Awesome tool! I am a 15yr ford senior master diesel technician and this is one of the best tools I've ever purchased. Very well built out of quality material. Definitely offsets the price of the tool considering how well it was made.

Great tool
Changed cups with motor in frame, works great. No way you could use a drive tool to seat cups. This tool is the best for the job.

EXCELLENT!!
Even though I never had the opportunity to use any other cup extraction or insertion tool, their descriptions accurately depict how they function. Riffraff's tool is very well made (and in the USA), the quality is high...10 out of 10...but the ease and simplicity of use is incomparable. Works EXACTLY as described. No effort or struggle to remove or install the cups. Thank you very much for making what could have been an involved process so much simpler.

Hands down the best tool made!
I have been a tech at Ford for over 15 years and this tool is by far the best I have seen. Well thought out, very nicely made, and you can tell these guys are experienced techs too. I wish I would have had this tool years ago, I could have saved my customers $1000's. Hats off to Riffraff Diesel, they are truly innovators in this industry.

Very easy to use, well made tool
I am so glad I purchased this tool over the one you pound the sleeves into the head. The rear cylinders would be tough to get a hammer in there. This tool lines them up perfect and they press right in. Awesome tool.

10 mins per cyl to R&I
Worked great, would have given it five stars except it should have had an extra set of bolts for installation. Every 7.3L mechanic needs one. Cups can be installed in vehicle very easy.

Top notch!
When I pulled my injectors and found I had a cracked injector cup, I said about every curse word in the Websters dictionary... I ordered this tool from Clay dreading the replacement of the cups. I received the tool promptly in the mail and the processential was very simple! I highly recommend this tool! Sure beats pounding them in with a hammer, and I had no leaks when the process was done.
