RDP Plenum Reinforcing Inserts™ - Ford 7.3L 99.5-03
These billet 7075 Aluminum plenum inserts are a Riffraff Diesel original design and are patent pending. They are made to allow you to clamp down as hard as needed with T-bolt clamps so that you don't have any boost leaks. Fix your bent and crushed stock plenums with our Inserts as well. This is a budget friendly option to buying full billet plenums. Easy install, no special tools needed.
These were designed so as to add the least restriction possible while providing more than adequate structure for clamping. The Plenum Inserts have been machined to within .164" of the OEM diameter so there will not be any measurable affect on EGT's or cfm flow.

Life saver
After crushing my stock manifolds these came in so handy without haven't too pull everything back apart! By far one of the cheapest and best investments you can make on your 7.3

Solid product
Fit was nice and tight. Used a block of wood and rubber mallet to tap them in. Firms up entire plenum but doesn't extend down far enough to block any flow. Seems a better option than buying new billet plenums if you don't need them.

Great Idea for better than OE.
These things are just what I was looking for. They fit exactly where your boots are likely to leak and mine did. it gives you the confidence to give the clamps that extra turn without crushing the cheap factory sheet metal.

Inserts standup to heavy T-bolt clamps
While upgrading my 7.3 I decided not to change my manifold inlets and kept the stock inlets. With higher boost pressure I needed stronger clamps. The inserts took some pounding to install, (my ports were slightly crimped) but they are a nice secure fit and now I can really tighten down the clamps without crushing the manifold inlet ports. Very well made and close tolerance fit.
