RDP Plenum Reinforcing Inserts™ - Ford 7.3L 99.5-03
These billet 7075 Aluminum plenum inserts are a Riffraff Diesel original design and are patent pending. They are made to allow you to clamp down as hard as needed with T-bolt clamps so that you don't have any boost leaks. Fix your bent and crushed stock plenums with our Inserts as well. This is a budget friendly option to buying full billet plenums. Easy install, no special tools needed.
These were designed so as to add the least restriction possible while providing more than adequate structure for clamping. The Plenum Inserts have been machined to within .164" of the OEM diameter so there will not be any measurable affect on EGT's or cfm flow.

Nice fix for the thin OEM plenums
Easy to install with a bit of wood and dead-blow hammer. Fit perfect.

Nice looking and easy install. I also bought new t bolt clamps and could finally really torque the plenums down without worrying about crushing them.

Well Made
These were nice looking pieces and fit very well. Not sure if they are needed but wow the stock sheet metal is so thin. No worries of them being crushed now. Glad I added these while doing the turbo work. Nice product.

Super easy install
I think they are good, no issues with the installation, and they will keep the stock manifolds from folding. One of mine was already bent so this fixed it.

Well made product
Installed these and now I see how thin the manifold metal is. Only issue I had was getting the Y-pipe thing connected to the turbo. Since the rings effectively raise the top of that manifold some I couldn't get the Y pipe attached to the front of the turbo. And on mine the Y thing didn't perfectly line up with the manifolds either. Probably something I screwed up. I just used a grinder and made a little room and everything installed perfectly.

WOW, all other reviews are right on the money, these are amazing fit and finish are exceptional, I had the plenums off so I used my shop press and wood to press them in, perfect interference fit, however, I did put red loctite around the top lip before driving them home, RPD did this right.

Mandatory.
Crushed a plenum. Put these on. They will save you headaches later and a bunch of time pulling off the old ones and more money from replacing broken parts. Precision fit. Great part.
