    OEM Parts

Posted by Kodi Schaffer on Jun 19th 2018

Very pleased with OEM seal kit from Riffraff. I have a 2003 7.3 with 154,000 miles and all seals fit great. Need a rubber mallet, grease and some wood to support the elbows when placing back together. Only hit my hand once, ha! Watch some videos on You Tube, they help.

    Great service

Posted by Sean Magill on May 24th 2018

Went to together with a little bit of work. You will need a pipe type clamp. You just can't push them together. I had a wood style pipe clamp. I would not have been able to press the oil cooler into the mounts. It is messy. I had the power steering pump off so this made removing the front mount a breeze.I used a small Kiddie pool to catch the Antifreeze and oil. This made all the difference in the clean up. I try to only purchase my parts from Riffraff. Clay is great.

    Seal kit renewal

Great product, price and shipping ! Clay even helped out with sealant for this knucklehead when I accidentally removed the plug on the aft cooler end. Thanks for the great parts and service.

Good To Go For Another 17+ Years

Posted by Jehiah on Mar 1st 2018

    Excellent, exactly what I needed.

Shipping was fast, everything was quality, the install was straightforward and went very well.

Before I installed this my truck would literally pour out into the ground when I started it in the cold. Now it doesn't leak a drop, very pleased. 10/10 would buy again.

odering was simple, delivery was quick and seals were of great quality.

once installed, the leak was gone and oil was no longer all over the place.

as always RiffRaff delivered another great viable solution.

Oil Cooler Leak on my 7.3

Posted by Ed on Feb 27th 2018

I noticed a leak under the truck and determined it was coming from my Oil Cooler. Called my local Ford dealer for a new Oil Cooler & seal kit was advised there was none in town and would have to be ordered in. I went on-line to Riff Raff and ordered most of the parts they shipped out the same day and I had them the next day. Assembled the new oil cooler and installed it, no problems. now I have a spare. All parts were OEM baby, the only way to go.

    Oil Cooler Seal Kit 7.3/T444E

Posted by Jordan B on Feb 8th 2018

Well this is the winter my oil cooler seals decided to crap out. Replaced them in my apartment parking lot with basic hand tools and a rachet strap to pull the cooler apart. Took about 4 hours, this includes time spent cleaning everything. Diesel fuel and those copper kitchen cleaning pads work the best in my opinion.

I recommend marking the aluminum casting positions on the tube so you can reinstall it the exact same way. Be gentle with the aluminum as it is soft and brittle (it scratches easy and will crack if you abuse it).

All Genuine Ford Parts. Easy to replace/install. The parts I removed looked exactly like these replacement parts.

When replacing these make sure to apply a light coat of grease to the seals and the inner mating surface. This prevents damaging the o-rings and makes it easier to assemble.
