Moroso Oil Pan Gasket 7.3L 94-03 Powerstroke

Good gasket, not as good engine
The gasket is great. Big, squishy, holds oil. Genius design to use studs to hold the gasket in place then nuts after the pan goes on. Really makes the not so easy job of an engine-in gasket replacement a little less of a difficult task. Two bad things though- it's shipped in a small box and the internal metal frame can get badly bent in shipping. And the 94-97 7.3 tdi block is shaped with a large ledge on the back side requiring more rtv than I would have liked, but that one is not morosos fault, that one is Ford's.

Moroso Oil Pan Gasket
The gasket is better quality than I expected. Fit with minimal issues. I say minimal because it comes folded in a box. Trying to get it flattened out for correct fitment is the hard part because the holes are exactly precise, which is good.

Easiest way to replace a oil pan gasket
After doing some research I came across this product. This is/ was the easiest way to get a replacement gasket back on the oil pan. Kind of a bare to get the oil pan out from under the motor but a whole lot better than having to pull the motor. Didnt have the part when I was redoing the timing cover gaskets and all the gaskets around there. Now its reusable if I need to pull the pan ever again. GREAT PRODUCT Moroso!!
