Mahle 8194 Up-pipe Gasket Set

These Mahle gaskets are only provided as a short term bandaid for your up-pipe leak.  They are slightly thicker than stock and will help reseal your leaking up-pipes.  We highly recommend using the actual fix which is the International Bellowed Up-pipe kit but sometimes finances don't allow that route.  Please understand that these will leak again so use only if you don't have the means to actually fix the issue with the Bellowed style replacement.

    Up-pipe gasket set

Fast delivery- new seals were much thicker than old ones. I was getting the gas chamber in the cab. I looked up the seals on riff -raff where I always rely OEM or better up graded parts. Installed new ones and cab air is clean again.

    Up pipe gaskets

These gaskets worked great, definitely oversized from factory gaskets, but I didn’t have any issues installing them on factory up pipes, I recovered boost and power!

    Worth installing

Donuts are definitely thicker so there’s room to tighten up down the road if they leak. But would recommend longer bolts because they are definitely fatter

Difficult install, great results, truck runs better at low speeds

Because of the location of these gaskets, you have to remove the turbo and the up pipes.
Installation of the gaskets themselves is easy once you get access.
Definitely get new bolts, and be careful that the old ones don't break off.
Plan on a couple of hours and while you have the turbo out, replace the O-rings.

    Worked good!

They were a little difficult to put on since they are quite a bit thicker than stock but once they were on they seemed to have sealed up good and I haven't noticed any leaks. Fast shipping to! Would buy again!

Best option if keeping stock up pipes

Posted by John M. on Nov 1st 2017

Already had turbo out and saw all the soot around the flangeds and along the firewall so I got these to replace those cheap stock ones. What a difference no more leaks EGTs are cooler since turbo is spoiling as fast as it should be.
