I made a mistake a few years back and bought a set of tubes, boots, and clamps that were a sinister knockoff. I run Looney Wild and UltimateX tunes for daily drivers and routinely see boost numbers in excess of 35psi which isn't insane, but more than stock nonetheless. Nothing is more fun than blowing a boot off at 70mph on the highway while running late to drop my daughter off at school. I've done this numerous times and finally had enough. Couldnt afford to buy new boots and clamps so opted for this clamp kit. These are amazing and tough as hell. I installed them and have HAMMERED on my truck everytime I drive it trying to blow them off and they just straight up dont move. I cant wait to buy the RiffRaff boots. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Amazing price, always amazing customer service and insanely fast shipping. Dont buy anywhere else.

I tried for a long time using the factory clamps. They were just old. I got new hot side boots and hot side clamps. Maybe other folks have had luck with other clamps but I feel not just any old clamp will do. These are good quality clamps and hold everything on well. I feel they will be on there for a long time to come.

Dont skimp on this after buying the boots. Look and feel like they will hold up well but again have yet to use one of the clamps. Spare clamps for now.

Why try to use old clamps on new boots? Its pointless, spend the extra money and get new clamps. You'll love them if you have to put them on or love not having to worry about them falling off down the road
