Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.

The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

    Installed on my truck 1 week ago. Truck runs a lot better, starts easier, eliminated dead head completely.

    Its a great product, well built! It did quiet down my motor a bit which is nice..also replaced the cvd fittings, put in all new alliant injectors stock TS 6 position chip stock mods 2000 7.3 excursion. my Ex runs like a champ. Thank you Clay for all of your great prices and products.

    Quieted down engine noise not only at idle, but at highway speeds as well. Acceleration is smoother and fuel mileage has increased about 1 mpg. Will pay for itself in fuel savings alone!

    Great Product, PIA Install

    I installed at the same time I did a fuel filter bowl rebuild (o-rings also from RiffRaff). Easy to install to bowl while bowl's out of the truck. Plugs came out easily with the recommended socket. I unbolted and moved the bracket for the glow plug and AIH relays to give a bit more space. Nonetheless, both front and rear fittings were a bear to install. Each took probably 45 minutes to finally thread into the hole. I think the rear would be easier with a second person taking the tension out of the hose. With the front, you're just going to battle the lack of space with the HPOP. My rear hose definitely rubs the pipes. I wrapped it with heater hose and then wrapped the hh with electrical tape. Hopefully it won't rub too badly.

    I'll never put another chip in a 7.3 without this mod (which can be a PITA) or the Hpx mod. Save your injectors from air, and cure the cackle noise. Cheap, but absolutely 110% worth it. Riff Raff has my business for life.

    Installed return kit while doing some other work, well made, great price, and smoothed out my 7.3 like you wouldn't believe. My only regret is that I didn't do it 100000 miles ago.
