Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.
The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

Worth the struggle
I'll start by saying that this upgrade is indeed worth the time and effort, hence the 5 star rating. With that being said, a little advise to future purchasers. Get the 9/32 square socket. Just do it. You'll understand why when installing. Second, I'm glad I was doing an HPOP overhaul as this would have been a pain to install otherwise. Do-able, but a pain. On my set up there is a noticeable difference in cackle (I also installed the high flow banjo bolts). Much quieter, my neighbors thank you. Overall, clean looking install, great results. Great product. Highly recommend to any 7.3L owner

Would recommend to all 7.3 owners
Glad I purchased this, took me almost 3 hours to install, but now that I've done the install. It'll be easier, bolt in the drivers side was a pain to remove but product works great.

Excellent quality
It's hard to say what improved my idle more, the 3 injectors I had to replace (injector cup job) the HPx, or the FRx with higher fuel pressure.
Either way, riff raff's products are second to none. Installation was simple and straight forward. Great reliability mod for the 7.3! -

Excellent product, made a huge improvement in the way it idles and runs, very easy to install products comes with install direction fast and easy.

Why would this not be a stock item
Not hard to install. If you do not have a regulated fuel return, not many do, than this is a great way to equalize. Great idea and a great product.

After installing engine sounds smoother and quieter overall not hard to install but the front was a bit tricky hard to get anything In there but all in all not hard and a great mod to the truck

If you don't have one stop and get it now...
best thing to ever happen to my truck, not too hard to install (mine is a E99 so needed to use the dremel tool to grind a touch on the back drivers side), I can't recommend this enough. If you don't have a regulated return for your 7.3 PSD, get this one right now, your truck will run better than it did when it left the factory
