Alliant Fuel Pressure Regulator "Blue Spring" Kit (AP0086) 03-07 6.0L
Taking only 30 minutes to install the new updated Ford "Blue Spring" will increase your fuel pressure back up to where it should be from the factory. Most 6.0's see an increase of 8-10 psi of fuel pressure. The added fuel pressure will help keep the injectors from out flowing the stock fuel pump, meaning no air in the injectors, and an injector that will live much longer. Most trucks will actually quite down a little at idle, rev up a lot quicker and with the added fuel pressure, a little quicker spool up on the turbo. The kit does include all the O-Rings and hard parts to install the blue spring kit.

This is all the kit you need to get your fuel pressure up. No other parts are necessary unless you have other problems with the fuel filter bowl. Ron Huxell (RIP) Diesel Tech Ron on YouTube has a great video of some tricks to do the job. Took me 10 minutes start to finish. Instantly noticed 5+ more psi on my gauge.

My fuel pressure went from about 41psi at idle up to 73-74 psi at idle. Must have mod for the 6.0. Super easy to install as well.

Put this in my 2003 6.0 powerstroke after installing new injectors after the originals went out. Bumped my fuel pressure from 55 to 70 psi. Great product and easy to install.

After this install my mpg went up by 1 mile and it feels like it's shifting a little smoother now. Also got a little boost on throttle response. Makes a big difference for something that cost less than $100 bucks.

Every O-ring you need to change the seals in your secondary fuel filter housing. Only instructions are a vague picture, but if you pay attention it's easy to see where everything goes. There is one extra round O-ring, which according to the picture is for your regulator spring cover if it doesn't use the keyhole shaped one. New copper washers for the banjo bolt have O-rings bonded to the inner edge (the old ones I took off did not).
