Riffraff Diesel Fuel Feed Line SS Braided Hose Kit - 7.3L 99-03

Our new feed line kit utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont to replace your worn and restrictive OEM hard lines that run from the fuel bowl to the driver and passenger side heads. This allows you to move from the problematic stock Vibra-Loc® sleeves to a leak proof JIC adapter for long term security against the possibility of a leak.

Our SS Braided Fuel Line Kit also solves the issue of pedestal interference on the OEM passenger side metal hardline when you convert to a T4 Turbo kit. This kit covers the fuel lines from your 1999-2003 7.3L Fuel Bowl to the fuel rail in the cylinder heads.

Made in the USA

Installation Note - Do Not over-tighten the 90º elbow that is installed into the fuel bowl. It is a tapered thread, and if over tightened can crack the fuel bowl.

    Braises Hose Fuel Line kit

Posted by Alex Curtis on Apr 18th 2024

    Good Points:
    Good Quality, everything included.

    Bad points:
Instructions. Rear passenger line difficult to access with the the turbo in place. Needs a stubby wrench or a crow's foot for removal/installation. Consider cutting the stock line with a hacksaw blade, then you can use a deepwell socket and a flexible head for stock items removal.

Front (driver side line): Very difficult to without cutting the stock line. Consider removing alternator/hydraulic pump bracket (at least the alternator). The other consideration is removing the fuel bowl and oil reservoir as one unit for access.

Great product, but not easy to install.

Product is good. Instructions need a re-write.

Once installed, product has successfully stopped a pesky fuel leak. Installation instructions include a number of errors and omissions. This is an annoyingly tedious job already, and will be much more annoying if you don’t remove the downpipe and alternator/pwr steering pump bracket to access the head connections. It will help if you are built like Manute Bol, but with tiny hands since the rear head connection is in a horrible location. Wrap your new lines in split 3/8” heater or vacuum hose to prevent chaffing as they rub in a number of places. As expected, I have detected zero performance improvement with stock injectors and turbo. This was all about fixing a leaking line. Time will tell on durability but it all looks good so far.

    Awesome product

Finally got The FRX and Stainless Steel Lines installed along with a T-800 from Joey. Have to say everything fit perfectly and has made quite a difference in the overall drivability of the truck. Im using the Gold Spring but still holding 70psi fuel pressure. Riff Raff makes some amazing products.

Great product. Can be done without pulling the spider and sensors but makes it way easier if you do. Great modification to a known 7.3 problem spot

FUEL FEED LINE SS BRAIDED HOSE KIT - 7.3L 99-03

Posted by James McCrummen on Feb 13th 2024

This hose kit is perfect! Direct replacement for the OEM steel lines that are famous for wearing and leaking at the clamp on the passenger side and less often, on the driver side. Mine was the driver side that was leaking. That passenger side head fitting was a major PITA but doable with patience, about 24 inches of extensions, a 9/16 crow foot, 9/16 open end wrench, and a 12 pack of beer.

    better than steel

Posted by Ryan on Jan 3rd 2024

not the easiest part to fit in and secure but still better than steel lines.
