The most difficult part of this install was removal of the factory "Cobra" I dropped the rear of my trans to gain access to remove it and to add some clearance to the firewall. Slid right in without any issues. I did move the cat hanger back 1.5 inches.

Tip: cut 1-1/2" from end of upper pipe and it will install much easier and still have plenty of insertion length into lower pipe. Get a band clamp instead of using "muffler clamp" provided and pipe will come apart easier.

I have not installed it yet, but it looks good.

Over all I am pleased with this product. It does take some work to get it to fit. Like mentioned by other buyers the firewall did need to be clearanced which would have to be done no matter what pipe is installed. I did have fit issues to the stock exhaust. The new down pipe was about four inches longer and the exhust would not move aft far enough to bolt up. Had to remove cat and install a delete pipe.

goes on pretty easy, all the sources on line say this and that, I actually had to rent a porta power to push out my cab, could not do it with a six foot bar.
I filled the old piece with water and measured it. filled the new pieces held together by tape with water and measured volume, essentially the same. any advantage must be that path is smooth and round

Riffraff had this and many other products delivered to my house in a few short days, and the quality is worth it. My 3 inch downpipe does everything I need. Reason for the 4 stars is that the welds on mine weren't the greatest. They will definitely do the job, but they are not tig welded. Rather, they are mig welded, and have a lot of undercut. However, the welds are still deep enough that I expect this to last quite a while. As for installation, cut the stock downpipe out, and push the firewall/tranny tunnel out. I got mine to fit by running a 6ft length of 1in square tubing inside, and just pulling as hard as i could. Fit great. Id buy again
