Stainless Steel HPX for Ford 7.3L 99-03

The Stainless Steel High Pressure Crossover is meant to allow excess oil pressure to flow between both heads allowing for better supply to the injectors. By allowing the oil the flow to the opposite head, the issue of pressure spikes are less. HPx line comes with adapters, ready to install.

    WOW!

Posted by Unknown on Oct 20th 2015

My truck before install would idle a little rough especially when the engine was cold, now it purrs like a kitten, pretty amazing for the price. Leaves me wondering why ford never thought of this part. Install takes 15 min if your familiar with your engine bay, even a novice mechanic can install it, pull the intake hose off, remove the plugs in the heads, and bolt on the HPX... its that simple.

    Worth the Money

Posted by Unknown on Sep 22nd 2015

This product was well made and did exactly what it was advertised to do. My truck idles much smoother now and also seems to run smoother as I'm going down the road. I am 100% satisfied.

    Very good product

The item fit very well installation was less than an hour. Every little bit helps when it comes to keeping the truck on the road and helping with reliablity.

I can tell a significant difference inside and outside of the cab in the engine noise. Great product.

    It is really worth it....

I almost did not believe the hype. I installed this tube and it cackled, and chugged for about 2 mins. then it hushed!!!! i couldnt believe the smooth idle, and quiet that was coming from my 7.3.... Sitting at a stop light and a 6.0l and duramax next to me, i could here each of there trucks over mine... Nice!!!

    Quieted down engine intially

Posted by Daniel Spencer on Jun 18th 2015

When I first started my 7.3 it was louder, then got very quiet. Almost like a 6.7 but then I couldn't notice a difference and can't realize it being quieter anymore (2-3 weeks later). Maybe I just got used to it. All in all, it is a good mod, cheaper than the rest. Good quality item, all fittings are high quality.

3rd time installing all 3 run great!

Posted by Aaron R. on Jun 16th 2015

I've purchased and installed this into 3 different trucks my E'99, my '01, and my dad's '02. It seems like all 3 have gotten quieter.

As I purchased over a span of a couple of years I can also note that the design changed. Its actually easier to install and has a larger ID. The ends are now AN and significantly easier to line up and tighten than the former crush fittings.
As I procrastinated working on my dad's, I had the one I purchased for his sitting there and installed both at the same time for easy comparison.

Easy installation and real world results

Posted by Clay T. on Jun 1st 2015

Wow, honestly I was a little skeptical of the reviews I had read but for the price I decided what the heck why not. Packaged arrived quickly and item was well insulated against damage. Installation was a complete breeze, like easier than changing the oil. HONESTLY truck starts quicker, runs smoother, and idles quieter. MUST HAVE!! Well worth the money!

    Engine idles more quietly

Posted by Unknown on May 23rd 2015

Less engine knocking sound at idle. The truck had a harsh cracking sound at idle -- as if you were beating a hammer on a hard piece of steel.

After installing this crossover, the harsh cracking sound is much quieter and the truck idles more smoothly.
