Stainless Steel HPX for Ford 7.3L 99-03
The Stainless Steel High Pressure Crossover is meant to allow excess oil pressure to flow between both heads allowing for better supply to the injectors. By allowing the oil the flow to the opposite head, the issue of pressure spikes are less. HPx line comes with adapters, ready to install.

huge difference
instant improvement on my truck. i used a wobbly 5/8 socket for removale of plugs, 5/8 deep with wobbly extension for new plug install, 5/8 and 11/16 wrenches for the rest. very easy install-20min. make sure oring comes off with old plugs. good idea to keep old plugs in truck for just in case problems. thanks Clay.

Some what easy to install
Hope it dose what it is supposed to do. It's job does make sense. Not a fix if you think it's only going to take five minutes. The tools to do the job may not be in eveyones box. As far as any noted improvements... none... keep in mind that could be good. If it's releaved unwanted strain and stress then parts will work better and last longer

Witch craft
I was skeptical at first as how can a $50 part make my truck better, slapped this sucker on, fired it up, idles quieter, take about a 35mile drive to clear up under load, seems to run way quieter, highly recommended

Must Have for ALL 7.3's
read the reviews and decided it was 1 of many mods needed. Installed in around an hour. Product fit perfectly and stabilized the ICP pressures. Hasn't thrown a code for the ICP pressure and runs so much smoother and quieter than before.
I bought the FRx as well but wanted to see and feel the difference individually. Money well invested thus far and highly recommended to anyone reading this review. -
Great products really makes a difference

Perfect fit!
99 F250 7.3 turbo pipe was a perfect fit easy to instal in under 30 min,
I for one did not hear the difference in sound reduction but I know that at least I
am getting oil to the rear injectors wich is a plus for me. -
HPx
Vehicle: 2001 Ford Excursion 4x4 Limited 7.3L PSD 175,000 miles. Installed the HPx Oil Crossover (and also the FRx Fuel Return Crossover) as part of an upgrade to my PSD.
Install was simple once you have access. Install is essentially 1) remove two oil rail plugs, 2) install fittings, and 3) install the crossover tube. I already had my intercooler tubes, CAC manifold and turbo out for rebuild, so that gave me plenty of access. Follow the instructions and you'll have no problem.
Results: I was surprised at how much the HPx and FRx smoothed out my idle and reduced engine noise. The engine appears to accelerate smoother as well.
For the money you can't go wrong, period. I own several RiffRaff products and I am happy with them. And the folks at RiffRaff are personable, helpful, and prompt. This IS a DIY-er upgrade that most anyone can do with basic hand tools. -
