My suggestion when installing this is to start with snugly setting the drivers side. This makes the connection to the left an easier fit without torqueing the pipe to connect. My engine smoothed out and holds a steady RPM now. I also changed the ICP and the EOT at the same time so this combo made a nice change for my 158K 7.3 L Powerstroke.

This isnt a mod for more power or mpg. But it will quite the engine down abit. and there will be less shaking.

Just put this in my 97 (took about 25 minutes) and immediately noticed a huge difference. Quieter and smoother idle with better throttle response. The motor also had an odd "tick" under load and this cleared it right up for cheap. Totally worth every penny. Another quality part by Riff Raff.
