The engine front cover is a critical part of the 7.3L Power Stroke oiling and accessory systems. After years of repairing damaged factory covers, we set out to eliminate the weaknesses commonly found in the original cast-aluminum design.
The Riffraff Diesel Billet Engine Front Cover is precision CNC machined in the USA from a solid block of USA sourced 6061-T6 aluminum. It was engineered for greater strength, improved serviceability, and long-term durability—not simply copied from the factory casting.

Damaged threads are one of the most common problems encountered with original aluminum front covers. Critical threaded locations in our cover use installed stainless steel inserts for increased durability, reliable clamping, and improved serviceability throughout the life of the engine.
Precision-Machined Oil Passages
Rather than relying on the dimensional variation of a casting, the internal passages are CNC machined for consistent size, alignment, and finish while maintaining compatibility with the factory 7.3L oiling system.

Best quality and coolest and most expensive part I bought for my truck. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the fact there was no warning that it did not come with a gasket kit nor a reminder to order it separately. I just realized it after taking off the old engine cover from my truck and realizing I couldn’t keep going for another 3 days before getting the part. I thought it would be included at that price. The quality is insane and I got the blue one which is the most beautiful car part I’ve ever seen

Billet Excellence
For the time and cost to fully rebuild a 7.3L Powerstroke this billet front cover is the best option available anywhere. There are a number of front cover options but the truth is those are usually used/refurbs, aftermarket castings of unknown quality or an overpriced Ford OEM. RiffRaff is the only option worth the money and a true upgrade that can give the confidence for absolute engine integrity.

I was reluctant to spend the money, but I can say after receiving it, installing and running that it is worth all of it and more. The fit, and finish of this part is bar none the highest quality on the market. It is amazing strong, and every part lined up like it should. I cant recommend Riffraff Diesel and Kill Devil Diesel enough, both are top notch companies and they have my 7.3L running like never before.

Waited a week to get it anodized red, and I wasnt disappointed. The cover looks amazing, and bolted right up to my block for my 2001 engine build.
