    Factory Fit

Posted by Rick on Feb 27th 2016

I was in there doing other upgrades: FRX, CVD, and Banjo Bolts, and wanted to get these fuel lines replaced. I have heard of this fuel line getting a severe leak from the factory bracket that will wear right through it over time. Well sure enough, when I took the bracket off and looked at the line, it was nearly worn through, I mean it was paper thin where this bracket was! I discarded the bracket as others have. You can also just put some kind of tape/wrap on the line where the bracket goes. This new fuel line was a perfect fit for my 99.5 7.3, 350k. Highly Recommended.

    Perfect

Not at all disappointed by the p-side fuel line. Fit perfect.....Helpful hint to all my 7.3 boys and girls while replacing the line change the highly restrictive Check valve fitting and replace it with Riffs High fuel flow CVD fitting.

    Perfect fit!

Would recommend this replacement. It's not a question of if the old will fail. It's when it will fail. And it will fail!

    Better design than orig

Posted by Unknown on Oct 1st 2015

I had the typical hole rubbed through on my 99 7.3
Bought this and the bends are slightly different than the orig ones making the install easy. I only removed 1 intercooler pipe to get the new line in

    Factory Fit = Excellent

    Get fit and factory part.
Mine had a rubbed through and created a pin hole, where the factory support strap is. I never would have figured it out if my Diesel tech buddy didn't take a look...

    Works well

Just bought a 7.3. Had some oil leaks to fix. Decided to check the wear on the line to make sure it wasn't worn. It was. While I was doing the turbo pedestal o rings I threw this in. Took 5 mins with the turbo out already. If you haven checked yours do it. And toss the stupid bracket the wears them out.
