    Great quality - short

Posted by Roger Lovell on Apr 22nd 2025

While I don't like clamps that are close to too long; the extra length on the bolt bothers me, several of these clamps we too short for my early 99. There are different lengths, so make sure you put them in the right place, but be prepared to use 2 clamps that you took off.

the clamp kit was really disappointing, they felt cheap, China made, could not get some them to even thread over new boots, had to use some of oem clamps, which seemed far better made even after being 20 some years old, S&B looked far better

3" Clamps do not fit the Riff Rafff Boot kit. Would likley work very well on OEM boots.

    NOT so great

Posted by jack Woolridge on Oct 27th 2024

I ordered these and new boots 18 months ago. They may work well under stock performance. This is a 10mm system and the bolt does not have the appropriate threads. I found that they begin to pull the threads off after 18 months. Going back to Ford clamps.

    Solid and good looking clamps

Finally got around to replacing the mismatched clamps on my truck, these are slick, look good, and hold much better than the OEM style.

Could use 1/8-1/4 of an inch more thread

Posted by JAMES HANSEN on Aug 21st 2024

I had a pain installing the clamps, when you back the nut out to where it's barely holding any thread its till a pain to install. I ended up taking the nut off and using a vise grip to pull the clamp together to get the nut back on. I couldn't get this to fit on my intake plenum so I used an old clamp that had more wiggle room. Other than that they work as expected.
