I was having a 16amp parasitic draw with the ignition turned off with my old GCPM. RiffRaff sent me the one ordered on the same day!! I hooked it up and works as it should, no more parasitic draw. I would suggest u change out your GCPM every 30-50K miles. RiffRaff is awesome!

I had to smog my Excursion, and I had a CEL for the glow plugs. I knew that they were fine, so I bought the GPCM and codes are gone! Passed smog,so good for 2 more years. The only thing that would have made it easier to install would be to open the rear slot,so you could start the nut on the rear post, and slip the module underneath. :)

I was getting a CEL after start. Sometimes it would stay on a few minutes, and other times days. I had the code read and it said GPCM communication error.

Buying this module from Riffraff was cheaper with shipping than buying it any local part stores, and it is OEM make.

Good OEM replacement. Cheapest and fastest place to buy a replacement. I bought this to fix my hard start issue but I should have started with the simple check of the glow plug resistance located on the valve cover wiring harness plug. I needed 8 new glow plugs (which I also bought from RiffRaff)
