Gasoila® Diesel Soft-Set Thread Sealant

No matter how careful you may be using Teflon tape, small shreads can be introduced into the fuel and oil ports. If these small pieces of teflon find their way to your injectors, it can lead to big problems.

Play it safe and use a paste thread sealant when working with NPT fittings on your diesel engine!

    Better than teflon tape....

Posted by Unknown on Mar 28th 2016

I used this sealant on a remote fuel pressure sender on my 6.0L Powerstroke. I had multiple NPT connections for the hose fittings, pressure transducer, and Schrader port, and did not want a leak, or want small pieces of teflon to make it to my injectors. This stuff worked very well. No leaks on the first shot. Its a little runny at first, but does thicken up, but does not completely solidify.
