Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.

The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

    Worth the time and money!!

    The hardest part was I had to unbolt the a/c to get the new fitting inplace of the plug. Other then that, directions are pretty straight forward. Noticeably quicker starts and smoother idle. Slightly quieter as well. Plus it helps prolong your injectors and it's a great, quality product made right here in the USA!!

    Great once fitted

    Do it!
    The only issue with the whole package was removing the plug on the drivers side front plug (Aussie model) so I removed the AC and the mounting bracket and that made it a 10 min job.
    Make sure you order the 9/32 socket as this will prevent rounding off the square plug.
    Smoother, quieter and more responsive.

    Installation a challenge

    Have a early 99 and it was a challenge to install. The instructions are good and the main reason for success. Fat fingers and getting the tool needed to grind the manifold was the hardest. The result is a quicker response engine and no ticking like I have a valve knocking. It still rattles like a diesel, but that is ok.

    Great product, made a bit of a difference in idle and acceleration seems smoother. Nice to get the air out before it goes through the injectors.

    Best Mod ever for the7.3

    After installed took it on test run and what a diff. in throttle response. If this also gives the injectors longer life then duh well worth the cash. My 01 has AC so it was easier to unbolt the unit shift it over & install the NPT to the pass. side head...Seems a bit quieter then before..Look forward to loading my camper & going over the pass with plenty of power to spare.

    No more bogging down of the engine. Smoother idle. Much more quiet, engine has more pick up and idles at a slower rpm. I'm extremely happy with it. I don't think my truck has run so smooth since it came off the line

    The product quieted my 7.3, and I have better pedal response. One of the few products that does what it claims to do. Worth every penny I paid for it. Tight on the install but worth it.

    A perfect fit, "USA Made" product

    Besides a larger exhaust, this is the first mod done to my '02. I decided to install this return system "while I was in there" performing a complete reseal of the oil and fuel systems. It went right in as it should, and the hoses were "clocked" correctly to land on the head fittings perfectly. The recommended middle spring was installed in the regulator. After install, I noticed one thing right away .... quicker starts, especially cold start. It also seems to have a smoother, idle to off idle manner.
