7.3L Diesel Fuel Rail Crossover™ (FRx) 99-03 Powerstroke
"The Prescription For Your Fuel System Needs®"
Our 2nd Generation FRx™ System utilizes Eaton Aeroquip® 304 Stainless Steel Braided lines covered with a groundbreaking protective layer of HYTREL® from DuPont.
The FRx™ was made to solve the 'deadhead' fuel rail issue on the 99-03 Powerstroke engine by connecting the two heads and allowing a metered return you allow the air another return path, rather than forcing it through your injectors. This product was designed to eliminate the need to cut your return line and use compression fittings, so that it is a true bolt on system. We have also machined the FRx™ block to provide from stock to 72 psi of fuel pressure depending on which spring you choose to install it with. By using our kit and eliminating the air in the fuel system you can experience smoother, quieter idle, less cackle, and better throttle response among other things. You will also be increasing your injector life as well by utilizing the FRx™ and creating a regulated return back to the tank. Protective covers are also pre-installed to prevent chaffing of engine components from the SS braided line. These covers are also great if you want to keep the system looking OE and not draw attention to it once installed.

High quality part
Installed this with the HPx and the truck runs smoother and quieter now. Great job by Riffraff on the design and manufacture of quality parts to upgrade my powerstroke.
-
Great upgrade for the price

best money spent.
A previous owner of my X jury rigged a fuel pressure regulator together and it always made me nervous it would blow apart. Well one day while topping off fluids I noticed diesel pumping through the gauge and I thought that's not right. A quick plug and an order into Riffraff. I ordered a bunch of upgrades I had been ogling. Clay was a champ as usual and answered all of my questions and concerns. This unit quieted down the engine, it looks great and it was fairly easy to install. if you are hesitating, wait no longer. It is a great upgrade and piece of mind.

Bought to improve repair times / less cranking during fuel drains
Found this is excelent for getting air out of the fuel system and priming without cranking after engine work.

No more Dead Head Fuel Rail
Great product by Riffraff that allows the fuel to enter both ends of the fuel rail so that you no longer have the dead head fuel rail. No more starving end of the line injectors. This should be on every 7.3 power stroke unless you delete the fuel bowl.

Great Upgrade
Did a bunch of upgrades at the same time as this, banjos, cvds, etc. Huge improvement in starting and the injectors were much quieter. Throttle response also was more consistent. The only thing I wished was different was the lines come with some kind of extra sleeve so they don't rub on things like the air pipes or other wires, etc... I used some vacuum hose but it look nicer...

Fuel Rail Crossover (FRx)
Great product and well built. When your wife says the truck seems quieter and seems to run smoother you know there is a huge difference! This is defiantly a must for the 7.3 My 2001 F350 with 178K really enjoys the change.
