No more leaks, I was constantly having an issue with the one piece filters from Napa. Went back to factory cap and filter, zero issues for over a month now. Great price as well.

OEm replacement for my cracked 25 year old original.

I wish I never threw away my original oem cap 18yrs ago when I bought the truck and replaced it with a parts store all in one unit. Wanted to go back to oem motocraft filters and couldn’t without this original cap. Thanks Riff Raff for keeping 7.3’s on the road.

The filter bowl lid is top quality and easy to install with a pair of channel locks or similar to tighten sufficiently. I don't care for the beveled o'ring though. These old filter bowls get tweaked over time and don't seal well with the skinny beveled o'rings. I ended up going back to the WIX flat o'ring that was on the truck. Then I ordered some McMaster-Carr o'rings.
