After using an aftermarket lid that looked nice with a nut on top for taking of and putting on, I bought this oem one and the fuel filter wrench from Amazon and never looked back. The first one I could smell diesel fuel all day, now everything is sealed up the way it should be. Not the first product I have ordered from this website and won't be the last, thank you guys for everything.

Great product. Avoid aftermarket caps. I put a two day temporary aftermarket cap in my 2002 F350 until this OEM cap came in the mail. In two days the after market (O'Reilly) cap/filter separated.

I was buying non-OEM lids and filters from AutoZone. After 2k miles on the last one the O-ring blew out on the highway and poured diesel fuel for miles before we realized what happened.

Got a brand new one from AutoZone and it would leak no matter how tight the lid was. Replaced with this and hand tightened (yes...with just my hand...no tools) and didn't leak at all. I did give it a 1/8 twist with a tool to tighten it up and works just fine. I'll go ahead and keep this lid and get filters from RiffRaff since they're cheaper than buying from AutoZone!

Had to use one of those stupid all-in-one filter/caps in a pinch and lost my old lid. Now I can get back to using Motorcraft filters with a quickness!

Perfect fit, excellent quality, factory o-ring. Installation and removal is a non-issue, especially with the OTC tool. Outstanding part!

Truck had an aftermarket bowl cap when I bought it. Always wanted to cross thread when I changed the filter, this threads in with ease
