Motorcraft Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor 97-04 Ford 6.0L / 7.3L
The PCM uses data supplied by the EBP Sensor to determine the fuel requirements at any given time while the truck is running. A bad EPB sensor can cause sluggish performance buy signaling the EBP valve at the turbo outlet to close at times that it should not close. A defective EBP sensor can also contribute to poor mileage.
Fitment: 3/12/96-2003 7.3L and 03-04 6.0L

This sensor is critical to good engine performance!
My tube was rotted so i replaced it and this sensor. My truck runs smoother, quieter, and shifts better, in addition to more power and better throttle response. This system is critical!

Definitely OEM Sensor
Good price and quick shipping. Now I know I have a good sensor. FWIW my problem was caused by the IAT connector.

Peace of mind
Why bother going through the trouble of cleaning an old sensor and not knowing if it is truly working properly. Great price, fast shipping, excellent customer service as always!

Oem!!
All I can say us it's working just like it should. Unlike the crappy dorman icp senor that went out in 3 months but cost just as much as the real thing

13.3 MPG to 18.08 MPG!
In conjunction with a new Exhaust Back Pressure Tube, and the sensor, I gained 5 MPG! This was all done at 65 MPH on a 600 mile round trip hand calculated. My Tube was not that plugged, and my sensor did not look that bad, but it sure made a huge difference!
