I installed this and took a 3000mile trip it gave me no problems and I was surprised to see that the color was black which are suppose to be the better one and the original, they were replaced with a gray color one after and the black ones are suppose to be hard to find but this was a original motorcraft part.

This camshaft position sensor works great. It's a direct replacement, inexpensive, and it's a factory Ford part which is the most important thing. They even have a pdf online that explains the three different types of camshaft position sensor for 7.3L Powerstrokes and it explains why this is the only one they carry for both the OBS and Superduty body style 7.3L Powerstrokes. The customer service is unbeatable. The part is package extremely well so it doesn't get crushed or damaged and they handle this with care throughout the whole delivery.

Putting in the glove box as extra.

I bought 2 of these to replace my gray ones. Mine were fine but wanted to try these. They are slightly different in running but no real issues nearly as good as the orignal black ones.

bought motorcraft part due to no start issue after install, still no start took truck to mecanic scanned truck found new cps defective cost me additional 100 and a lot more for there repalcement

Impressive! I bought it to try and clear up some warm idle surge issues, but it also cleared up the loud knocking too. It sounds like a 7.3 again.....

Once received I knew it was what I needed, Using a generic off brand from a parts store wasn't gonna cut it. Knowing Riffraff and there high quality, Good design, and OE replacement parts, I should of did this awhile ago! Replace my old CPS and use the OE from Riffraff (BOOM) Idle and smoothness came to the truck I've never felt before! Ford's are picky on what parts you use especially sensors! Save yourself the trouble and get OE sensors, Riffraff has always good pricing and amazing quality with there merchandise!

Works as it should.
