I have had the cps go out twice on my truck and always without wrning. I bought this one to keep as a back-up in case the current one goes out again. They are an easy fix if you remove the serpentine belt first. Thanks Riffraff

Buy this, put it in, and keep the old one in your truck for backup. Cuz it won't run with a bad one.

purchased this CPS to replace a cheap parts store CPS that had an intermittent miss. installed this Motorcraft CPS and fixed the problem.

I have tested various models, including nos original black models. This actually performs a little better than the nos models imo and test results.

Great oem parts for the price

I had the truck turning off in the rain particularly with the wipers on intermittent setting. When taking my foot off the gas and the motor going to idle towards a stop sign the truck would suddenly turn off, or standing at a sign or light after driving in the rain. On the highway it would sputter occasionally. After putting into park or neutral it would start immediately.
We had a few heavy rains since and I had no issues. I also put the die-electric grease on the connection to make sure it's insulated.

Ordered on a Wednesday night and it was in my mailbox on Friday! Truck use to sputter and when it rained, it would shut down while driving. Could never get up to speed either. Took me honestly 8 minutes to install. Great OEM part and price. Thank you!!!
