Riffraff Diesel HPOP Bolt Access Covers for 1994-2003 7.3 Powerstroke

Riffraff Diesel HPOP Bolt Access Covers for 1994-2003 7.3 Powerstroke

Oct 26th 2026

The factory 7.3 Powerstroke HPOP drive gear bolt access cover is a thin stamped-steel plate sealed with RTV. Any time the HPOP needs to come out, the cover has to be removed, cleaned, resealed, and allowed to cure again. A time consuming and dirty process, plus if you damage the thin stamped steel plate in the process, well, it has been discontinued by Ford/International. Finding a new one is a chore, iff possible at all.

We replace that setup with a reusable 6061-T6 billet aluminum cover and Viton quad-seal O-ring. No RTV, less mess, and easier access the next time the high-pressure oil system needs service. Plus, it looks awesome. Both versions (with or without EBP sensor mount) include stainless hardware, multiple anodized finishes, and are of course, made in the USA.

Which version do you need?

HPOP Bolt Access Cover w/ EBP 99-03, RDP-BAC-SD: This version is for 1999-2003 7.3L Powerstroke trucks retaining the EBP setup. It replaces discontinued Ford part number F81Z-9J432-AA while keeping the proper EBP-equipped configuration.

HPOP Non-EBP Bolt Access Cover 94-03, RDP-BAC-OBS: This version fits 1994-2003 7.3L Powerstroke applications that do not need the EBP provision. It uses the same billet construction and quad-seal design, giving OBS and modified later trucks a simple, reusable cover without the extra EBP hardware.

Key features

  • 6061-T6 billet aluminum
  • Reusable Viton quad-seal O-ring
  • Eliminates RTV sealing
  • Stainless steel hardware
  • Multiple anodized finishes
  • Made in USA
  • Available for EBP and non-EBP applications

Why it makes sense

This is a small upgrade that becomes worthwhile the first time the HPOP has to come back out. The billet cover is stronger than the factory stamped plate, seals with a replaceable O-ring, and turns future HPOP access into a remove-and-reinstall job instead of another round of scraping RTV.

We also offer a BAC Replacement Seal Kit with a new seal and hardware. The replacement kit works with both Riffraff billet covers but not the stock sheet-metal plate.

Install

Remove the factory cover, clean all old RTV from the front cover, install the Viton quad seal in the Riffraff cover, tighten the supplied hardware evenly, then start the truck and inspect for leaks.

Bottom line: Whether you need the 1999-2003 EBP version or the 1994-2003 non-EBP version, the Riffraff billet HPOP access covers replace a thin, RTV-dependent factory part with a stronger, reusable O-ring-sealed setup.
