Riffraff Diesel Billet Valve Cover Set for 1994–2003 7.3 Powerstroke

Riffraff Diesel Billet Valve Cover Set for 1994–2003 7.3 Powerstroke

Jul 6th 2026

The factory 7.3 Powerstroke valve covers do their job, but they are still thin stamped covers on a 20+ year old truck. When sealing matters, rigidity matters. That’s why we built the Riffraff Diesel Billet Valve Cover Set (RDP-VC-73L) for 1994–2003 7.3L Powerstroke F-Series trucks.

This is an industry-first, USA-made, one-piece billet aluminum valve cover set. Each cover starts as 48 pounds of American 6061-T6 aluminum and is machined down to about 3 pounds of finished part.

Why upgrade over stock?

The main benefits are simple: better sealing stability, less injector noise transfer, and a cleaner engine bay (plus they're billet aluminum!!). The added thickness helps reduce injector noise, while the increased rigidity helps the gasket seal more consistently than a thin factory cover.

Customer feedback points to the same idea: improved sealing, reduced injector ticking, strong machining, and a much more finished look under the hood.

Key features

  • 100% American-made 6061-T6 aluminum
  • One-piece billet construction
  • Increased rigidity for better sealing
  • Increased thickness for less injector noise transfer
  • Uses stock CCV and mounting hardware
  • Stock CCV or -12 ORB port options
  • Color anodizing available
  • Laser engraving available by request

Fitment note for OBS trucks

On 1994–1997 trucks, we recomend using a Super Duty oil dipstick tube, since the stock OBS dipstick tube will not fit with these valve covers.

Recommended add-ons

If the valve covers are coming off, replace the gaskets and related hardware while you’re there. Related parts include CCV vent cover O-rings, 94–97 valve cover gaskets, 99–03 valve cover gaskets, and 7.3L stainless valve cover bolts.

Install

Remove the factory valve covers, clean the sealing surfaces, install fresh valve cover gaskets, set the billet covers in place, install the correct hardware, tighten evenly, reconnect the CCV setup, then start the truck and check for leaks.

Care note: anodized aluminum can be damaged by harsh chemical engine cleaners. Use soap and water only.

Bottom line

If you’re searching for 7.3 Powerstroke billet valve covers, 1994–2003 7.3 valve cover upgrade, or 7.3 valve cover gasket sealing improvement, this billet set is the clean, do-it-once upgrade for better sealing, reduced injector noise transfer, and USA-made quality.
