Fitment note

This cover is designed for 1999–2003 7.3L Powerstroke HPOP reservoirs. It can also be used on 1996–1997 trucks only if the truck has been upgraded to a 1999–2003 HPOP reservoir, since the stock OBS reservoir is one piece and does not have a removable cover.

 

Recommended hardware

We recommend the optional RDPHRC-BOLT stainless steel bolt kit for best fit and finish, with the billet cover. If you’re running a Riffraff Mini or Large Spacer, you already have the correct bolts.

 

Install

Remove the old HPOP reservoir cover, clean the sealing surface, install the new Viton O-ring, set the billet cover in place, install the stainless hardware, tighten evenly, install the billet fill plug, then fill/prime the reservoir and check for leaks.

Care note: harsh chemical engine cleaners can damage anodized aluminum. Use soap and water only.
