Oct 20th 2026
Quick Summary: The new Edge CTS4 lineup brings a larger 5.5-inch display, faster gauges, Wi-Fi updates, diagnostics, custom tuning support, and multiple performance options for diesel and gas trucks.
Edge is replacing its familiar CTS platform with the new CTS4 lineup, bringing a larger screen, substantially faster hardware, updated graphics, and more ways to configure the monitor around the truck. The new lineup includes Insight CTS4, Insight+ CTS4, Evolution CTS4+, Juice with Attitude CTS4+, and application-specific Insight kits.
While it's not in the public's hands just yet, presale is available now, and we were given an in person look at the new CTS4 a while back. Got to hold it in our hands and play around with it's new features. It's a great device with a bunch of upgrades and new features, and it's FAST. Of course, once we get our first official CTS4 in house, we'll go deep into what it does and share more. For now, check out some official info from Edge, below. Also, be sure to scroll all the way to the end of the article for tons of new images of the brand new CTS4.
Pre-sale begins now, October 20, 2026, with the official launch scheduled for November 3, 2026.

What changed with CTS4?
The first thing owners will notice is the new 5.5-inch touchscreen, with 21% more viewing area. Behind it is a new 1.7 GHz dual-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and a 60 fps refresh rate.
Edge also claims:
- 70% faster cold boot
- 70% faster entry into the monitor screen
- 50% faster parameter changes
- Up to 6x smoother live-data refresh
- 4x memory capacity
- 4.3x faster memory
- 31 gauge layouts
All that matters more than the spec sheet makes it sound. Faster PID changes and smoother gauge refresh make parameters like EGT, coolant temperature, transmission temperature, boost, and fuel-system data easier to follow when towing or diagnosing a problem.
More than a digital gauge
Every CTS4 starts with Edge’s monitoring platform. Depending on vehicle (some vehicles simply have more sensors), owners can monitor real-time parameters, set alerts, read and clear trouble codes, check OBD readiness and emissions status, datalog, view peak values, and set maintenance reminders. Wi-Fi updates allow the device to stay current without plugging it into a computer.
CTS4 also supports EAS accessories for adding sensors such as EGT, pressure, or temperature inputs, plus an RCA input for a backup camera (allowing even old school camera connection).

Which Edge CTS4 do you need?
Insight CTS4: The monitoring-first option. It gives you real-time gauges, diagnostics, datalogging, and customizable vehicle information without adding performance tuning. This is the logical choice for towing, work trucks, RVs, and daily drivers where knowing what the truck is doing matters more than adding power.
Insight+ CTS4: Insight+ adds native PowerCal custom tuning support. Compatible calibrations from participating custom tuners can be stored and managed directly through the device, making it better suited to modified trucks and owners whose tuning needs may change with the build.
Evolution CTS4+: Evolution adds preloaded gas or diesel performance tuning to the CTS4 monitoring platform, along with custom-tuning capability where supported. It is intended for customers who want a single device for gauges, diagnostics, and additional performance.
Juice with Attitude CTS4+: Juice combines the CTS4 monitor with Edge’s vehicle-specific inline power module and shift-on-the-fly power control. The new-product material also calls out built-in EGT-based safety backdowns, making it the more integrated performance option for supported applications.
Why CTS4 matters for Powerstroke owners
The previous CTS monitors were already popular because one screen could replace a stack of individual gauges. CTS4 keeps that idea but makes the hardware faster, the display larger, and the product choices clearer.
A stock tow rig may only need Insight. A modified 7.3L, 6.0L, 6.4L, or 6.7L running custom calibration may make more sense with Insight+. Customers wanting Edge’s own performance tuning move to Evolution, while compatible trucks looking for Edge’s inline power control can step up to Juice with Attitude.
Bottom line: The new Edge CTS4 is not just a bigger CTS3. The 5.5-inch screen, faster processor, smoother live data, Wi-Fi updating, expanded gauge layouts, diagnostics, and multiple tuning levels make it a more complete platform, whether the truck simply needs better monitoring or is already well into a performance build.
