Front ABS Greas-able Block Off Fitting: How To

Front ABS Greas-able Block Off Fitting: How To

Aug 15th 2025

The front wheel bearings on Dana 50 and 60 axles are not designed to be serviced or greased regularly. This lack of serviceability reduces their lifespan. We've found that adding grease at regular intervals significantly extends the wheel bearing's lifespan. However, the axle doesn't have an easy way to get this job done. Thats why we created the Front ABS Grease-able Block Off Fitting. This fitting is designed to be installed in place of the ABS sensor during service. Grease is then added via the fitting's zerk fitting, and once done, the fitting is removed so the ABS sensor can be reinstalled (on rear wheel ABS only trucks, the Grease-able fitting can be installed permanently). A quick and easy job that'll help extend your wheel bearings' life.
Side Note: The Front ABS Grease-able Block Off Fittings are the perfect way to cleanly block off the ABS sensor hole for those who are not using ABS. Not only for rear wheel ABS only Ford trucks, but for Jeep axle swaps and more.
