Complete CAC Intercooler Boot Kit for the 2008–2010 6.4L Powerstroke
Jul 24th 2026
The 2008–2010 6.4L Powerstroke CAC boots deal with heat, oil vapor, boost pressure, towing load, and age. Over time, the factory boots can swell, crack, slip, or blow off, causing boost leaks, smoke, low power, and a truck that feels lazier than it should. The long term fix? Upgraded silicone, reinforced boots.
The Riffraff Diesel Complete CAC Intercooler Boot Kit (RDPABK0810) replaces all four charge-air boots with a stronger, oil-resistant setup built for the 6.4L intercooler system. Each boot uses 4-ply reinforced Aramid inner construction with a thin silicone outer layer for color and easy cleaning. Through testing, we can rate these boots to approximately 550°F and up to 180 psi working pressure. Much more than your 6.4L will ever see.

Why upgrade?
Factory boots don't last forever. And weak boots let boost escape before it reaches the engine, which hurts power, throttle response, towing performance, and smoke control. This kit gives the turbo plumbing a stronger connection point, especially on trucks that tow, work hard, or run more boost than stock.

Install
Remove the factory CAC boots, clean the intercooler pipe and intake connections, install the new boots in the correct locations, position the clamps squarely over the bead areas, tighten evenly, then pressure-check or road-test and inspect every connection for leaks.
Clamp placement matters, especially on the hot side. The thicker boot material can make it harder to feel the pipe ends underneath, so take the extra minute to verify everything is fully seated before tightening.

Recommended add-on
If the stock clamps are tired, replace them at the same time with Riffraff’s Intercooler Boot Complete Clamp Kit 6.4L.
Bottom line: If you’re searching for a 6.4 Powerstroke CAC boot kit, 2008–2010 6.4 intercooler boot upgrade, or 6.4 boost leak fix, this complete Riffraff boot kit is the clean replacement for worn factory boots.
