Complete CAC Intercooler Boot and Clamp Kits for 2008–2010 6.4L Powerstroke
Jul 31st 2026
The 2008–2010 6.4L Powerstroke CAC system lives in a harsher environment than earlier Powerstroke generations did. Quick boost changes, heat, oil vapor, increased boost pressure, towing load, and age all take their toll. When the factory boots get soft, swollen, cracked, or loose, the truck can lose boost, smoke more, feel lazy, or blow a boot off under load.
The Riffraff Diesel Complete CAC Intercooler Boot Kit replaces all four charge-air boots with oil-resistant, 4-ply reinforced Aramid boots with a thin silicone outer layer for color customization, increased protection, and easy cleaning. The boots are rated to approximately 550°F working temps (compared to most others on the market at only 350°F) and we've tested them high enough to comfortably rate them at up to 180 psi working pressure. And of course, all American Made.

Why upgrade?
A sealed charge-air system matters. If boost escapes before it reaches the engine, the turbo has to work harder and the truck loses response, towing power, and smoke control. Stronger boots help keep the 6.4L intercooler plumbing sealed where the factory boots commonly give up. Thicker boot material, straightforward installation, secure clamp hold, and no boot boost leaks after installation. It's a no-brainer.

Don’t reuse tired clamps
The boots do the sealing, but the clamps keep everything seated. If the truck is still running stock Ford clamps, we offer the Intercooler Boot Complete Clamp Kit 6.4L as the matching clamp upgrade. The kit includes seven 3.25-inch stainless clamps and one 3.5-inch clamp for the 2008–2010 6.4L Powerstroke CAC system.

Install tips
Remove the factory CAC boots and clamps, clean the intercooler pipe and intake connections, install the new boots in the correct locations, position the clamps squarely over the bead areas, tighten evenly, then pressure-check or road-test and inspect every connection for leaks.
Bottom line: If you’re searching for a 6.4 Powerstroke CAC boot kit, 2008–2010 6.4 intercooler boot upgrade, 6.4 boost leak fix, or 6.4 intercooler clamp kit, this boot-and-clamp combo is the clean replacement for worn factory charge-air connections.
