    Not sure of any performance
incease but the fit was perfect. I
purchased for added benefit of getting
oil to all injectors quicker on start up.

  2. Cant believe the sound diffrence 5 Star Review

I am a novice when it comes to diesel motors. this is one of the first things i was to to do. It was easy to install and made a night and day in the sound of the engine

  3. Nice Addition to the new motor 5 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 26th 2018

Well, after 185k. I started to see some bluish smoke. Went to the dealer and of course I was told I need a new engine. Number 7 has low compression. I authorized the compression test, but they did not perform it. They said, they were able to perform a different test, to determine compression?
Well I got a 2nd opinion and it did need a motor. So 8g's later and a new crate motor. The motor came in and of-course the AFE intercooler pipes, cold air intake, turbo back 4 inch, wicked wheel 2, turbo master waste gate, bds uppipes ( wrapped with DEI titanium wrap, turbo blanket and I've forgotten what else.
Engine is installed and should be able to start it in a few days.
I guess with the new motor and other items, it will be hard to tell how the item has-will improve the top end noise.

  4. Riffraff 4 Star Review

I like it. My engine seems to idle smoother. If only there was a way to incorporate a filter to keep the oil in the top end cleaner...

  5. Fits 5 Star Review

Posted by on Jun 14th 2018

Can't tell if I was supposed to notice anything, but fit was perfect. I installed during Turbo rebuild, which made it easier. During driving it does seem to be a little quieter. But that's all I know.

Took about five minutes to install and I noticed an immediate difference in the idle. Idles extremely smooth and power comes on much smoother as well.

  9. Great addition to my PSD 5 Star Review

Posted by on May 14th 2018

Purchased the stainless steel HPX cross-over to replace my leaking (other vendor) cross-over hose. The quality of the HPX, its bends and the fit was amazing. Had the HPX in within 10 minutes with no leaks. Thank you Clay for the quick shipping.

  10. Quality is good. But... 5 Star Review

Posted by on May 14th 2018

As of now I can only speak on the quality of the part. It is a very sturdy item, definitely built to last. However, as it states in the description, it will not work with all t-4 mounting kits, in my case it isn’t even close to working. I installed an irate t-4 kit with 369sxe and it will not work using factory HPO lines. However I noticed that if you get longer HPO lines made to use different ports in the oil rails you can put the HPX in the port used by factory lines closer to the front of the engine. I’m sure this is what I’ll eventually do, but for now I’m just enjoying having my truck back.
