Riffraff Diesel 7.3L Powerstroke Injector Cup / Sleeve Tool Set 94-03

Brand New Patented Design!

We have refined our injector cup/sleeve tools over the last 7 years using them as rental units, in the shop and we have now been awarded patents on there design and released them in production.  These tools were designed for 7.3L gear-heads by 7.3L gear-heads.

Unlike other's cup tools on the market our design is engineered towards repeated shop use, and efficiently removing and installing the injector cups .  We believe removing and installing the injector cups should be a surgical operation, not something requiring beating cups in with hammers and leaving brass filings from removing. This is why we have designed our tools with tight clearances, and clean injector bores in mind.

Since we utilize the latest in metallurgical and coating technology it allows us to thread our removal tool into the damaged injector cup without creating any filings or chips to fall into your cylinders.  Both our puller and installing tool use bridges that are quickly fastened to the injector mounting holes. This means you don't have to remove your rocker arms allowing for a faster overall job.

The install tool is really the break through since rather than trying to hammer on it in tight spaces and hope your cup is seated you simply use a socket and allow it to press the cup in.  This allows for a completely seated cup every time, no guessing, no hammering, even on the back cylinders or e-series vans. To ensure our install tool doesn't deform your new cup, like some competitors tools, we have machined it so that it engages both the full surface of the cup bottom as well as the top lip.  We have put an o-ring on it so you can strategically put your cup in the injector bore instead of dropping it in and hoping your sealant stays intact. In order to allow the cup to seat without turning in the head we have engineered the install tool with a ball bearing so it remains stationary while you turn in the press.

All hardware has been coated for rust resistance as well as a rockwell hardness of over 62 to ensure a long life.

  2. Precision! 5 Star Review

Was a precision and easy tool to use. My buddy who is a Ford tech helped be and couldn't believe how much better this tool is than his OTC slide hammer tap and punch. Litterly saved me thousands on this repair. You guys rock!

  3. Best tool ever 5 Star Review

I have been doing powerstroke work for years with a different style and manufacture of injector cup tools. Never seemed to have enough room to pull and install with heads on truck. This was a simple effective tool and made injector cup replacement simple and very efficient. One of the best investments I have made for my powerstoke work.

  4. E series must! 5 Star Review

I have a mobile repair business. Have a new customer with an E450 that had diesel appearing in his coolant tank. With the "other style" tool, the engine would of had to been pulled. Out in the field, I don't have that kind of equipment with me. With Riffraff's tool, the job was able to get done with the engine in the van. Saving my customer money, getting the job done quicker, and getting me off to my next broke down customer sooner. 4 of the 8 sleeves were cracked...replace them all!!

  5. Best tool in the box 5 Star Review

Purchased this tool after seeing a friend use it on a rental. I work at a ford dealer and have been using a rosewood tool for about 3 years now. After using riffraff's tool on two jobs now all I can say is holy cow what an amazing pieces of equipment. I wish I would have known about these and I would have never purchased the eBay tools (which are now in the trash BTW). Not having to hammer the crap out of the driver alone is worth every penny. I heavily recommend this to tech that is doing a sleeve cup job. More money in my pocket as it has sped up my job time by almost 15 mins. You can tell these guys have done a lot of sleeve jobs and obviously know what they are doing.

  8. MUST HAVE 5 Star Review

Had fuel in my coolant it my Early 99 7.3. 99% chance it was bad injector cups. Spend the coin and buy/rent this. It was my first time even taking the valve covers off, let alone pulling injectors/cups out. Very easy and straight forward to use. His PDF with instructions made it crystal clear. JUST GET THIS

Your're a gosh darn fool if you think you can get away with a cheaper removal tool set. Learn from my mistake and buy this! Worth it's weight in gold!

    Happy wrenching,

  10. Excellent tool 5 Star Review

The tool itself is awesome and works great.the only problem I had was one of the cap screws that went into the hold down snapped off when I was installing the cup. Luckily it broke at an angle and I could back it out.
