Riffraff Diesel 7.3L Powerstroke Injector Cup / Sleeve Tool Set 94-03

Brand New Patented Design!

We have refined our injector cup/sleeve tools over the last 5 years using them as rental units and we have now been awarded patents on there design and released them in production.  These tools were designed for 7.3L gear-heads by 7.3L gear-heads.

Unlike other's cup tools on the market our design is engineered towards repeated use.  We believe removing and installing the injector cups should be a surgical operation, not something requiring beating cups in with hammers and leaving brass filings from removing. This is why we have designed our tools with tight clearances, and clean injector bores in mind.

Since we utilize the latest in metallurgical technology it allows us to thread our removal tool into the damaged injector cup without creating any filings or chips to fall into your cylinders.  Both our puller and installing tool use bridges that are quickly fastened to the injector mounting holes. This means you don't have to remove your rocker arms allowing for a faster overall job.

The install tool is really the break through since rather than trying to hammer on it in tight spaces and hope your cup is seated you simply use a socket and allow it to press the cup in.  This allows for a completely seated cup every time, no guessing, no hammering, even on the back cylinders or e-series vans. To ensure our install tool doesn't deform your new cup, like some competitors tools, we have machined it so that it engages both the full surface of the cup bottom as well as the top lip.  We have put an o-ring on it so you can strategically put your cup in the injector bore instead of dropping it in and hoping your sealant stays intact. In order to allow the cup to seat without turning in the head we have engineered the install tool with a ball bearing so it remains stationary while you turn in the press.

All hardware has been coated for rust resistance as well as a rockwell hardness of over 62 to ensure a long life.

  2. MUST HAVE 5 Star Review

Posted by on Nov 30th 2017

Had fuel in my coolant it my Early 99 7.3. 99% chance it was bad injector cups. Spend the coin and buy/rent this. It was my first time even taking the valve covers off, let alone pulling injectors/cups out. Very easy and straight forward to use. His PDF with instructions made it crystal clear. JUST GET THIS

  3. Buy it! 5 Star Review

Your're a gosh darn fool if you think you can get away with a cheaper removal tool set. Learn from my mistake and buy this! Worth it's weight in gold!

    Happy wrenching,

  4. Excellent tool 5 Star Review

The tool itself is awesome and works great.the only problem I had was one of the cap screws that went into the hold down snapped off when I was installing the cup. Luckily it broke at an angle and I could back it out.

  5. Bought this after the ubiquitous ebay driver and extractor set failed... 5 Star Review

Posted by on Oct 12th 2017

This tool is fantastic, do consider this if you are thinking that the tool for this job on ebay is garbage. My extractor quit biting after 4 cups and there's no way you'll be able to put number 7 cup in. Riff Raff's tool makes this job a breeze! The installation tool in their kit has no pilot but it doesn't need it since it fits well inside the cup. Worth the money and cheaper than taking it to a shop that would likely pull the heads off for the job...

  6. Injector sleeve tools 5 Star Review

Posted by on Aug 24th 2017

The only set I've used so can't comment on the others but in my opinion I got the best !! Worked VERY well in my E450 and I'm sure on any other Ford truck ! VERY WELL MADE, I'm a marine tech and have used a lot of special tools over the years, this kit should make Snap-On take notice !!
As for price, an old man once told me ' quality is a lot like buying hay, if you want good quality hay you must be prepared to pay the price, however, if you can be satisfied with hay thats already been through the cow, that usually come a fair bit cheaper' !
Thank you Riffraff for a very high quality set of tools, well done !!

  7. Well Worth the Price 5 Star Review

I looked at different tools to purchase and this one had the best rating and reviews. The tool worked flawless in the hard to reach places like #8 cylinder and cylinders next to the heater box. I am pleased to add this tool to my inventory.

  8. Glad I didn't buy the cheaper tool 5 Star Review

I don't know how the fuck you can get a hammer on the back sleeves to pound them in. Especially on passenger side. That's the only reason why I got this tool makes install simple torqued cups to 35-37 ft lbs and seated perfectly every time.
Spend the extra money and get this tool.
