International Bellowed Stainless Steel T409 Up-pipes 1837872C93 are what you need to cure those leaking stock up-pipes. It isn't a matter of IF but WHEN your factory style up-pipes will start to leak, and when they do this is your permanent answer. Because they used a bellow rather than a donut gasket these kits won't leak and will ensure you are utilizing all your boost to spool the turbo.
When your factory up-pipes leak you will start to see a loss of power, mileage and a gain in EGT's. This kits come complete with everything you need to swap the leaking factory up-pipes for the new bellowed style, including hardware nuts and bolts.
*Ceramic Coating Details $140 (Optional) -
The Turbo Black ceramic was formulated for exhaust temps up to 2000*F and will hold in at least 60% of the heat from radiating out under your hood. Not all black coatings will achieve that function. These coatings have been specifically formulated for use on military aircraft.
By retaining the heat energy your turbo will spool up faster and more efficiently. We double coat the outside of the pipes to protect them from rusting and it results in a much longer attractive finish while retaining heat. The two main functions of the coating is appearance and longevity of your engine parts and gaining a more efficient running engine.

Great fit, great improvement over leaking stock pipes. Don't buy gaskets to fix the leak, buy the pipes. You do not want to do this job twice.

I put these on my late 99 4wd when the tranny was out for rebuild. The only issue I had was the directions said to pre assemble the pass side up pipe to the turbo manifold thing but it wouldn't fit with my 4" down pipe so I just put them in apart and it worked fine that way. Great product they looked really good and am very happy my truck doesn't waist its boost turning the top of my tranny black... again worth the extra $$ to get the ih pipes

Awesome difference over stock. No more leak and no chance of leaking. Very happy. Truck runs way better and mileage improved instantly. Old ones were pretty worthless. Avoid Dorman or other knock offs. Get what the motor was meant to have.

These up pipes aren't cheap. But, they were a precise fit. I was surprised by how well they did fit. Goes to show you. At least in this case. You do get what you paid for. Better yet. No more leak.
On a side note. This is the first time ordering through riffraff diesel.com. I did so after reading a couple reviews on various forums.(even though they were a few years old). I can just say wow. He emailed a shipping confirmation within an hour and I received my part in two days. Wow. Nice going. They whole experience went flawlessly.

These up-pipes wreak of quality. Solid, well built, nice welds. Heck I just liked to hold and look at them. 10 fold better than factory. Juiced original bolts over several days before removal. Cutting bolts not necessary for me. Instructions awesome thus made R&R fairly easy if you take your time and be patient.

What a difference a tiny exhaust leak makes! I installed these in my 02 Excursion. Everyone talked about what a pain it is, but it wasn't that bad actually. Having two people (one up top, and one underneath) and a good 2ft to 3ft of extensions helps a lot!
I'd highly recommend hitting it with some cutting oil the night before. Made taking out the old ones a few minutes vs. the pain of trying to get up in there to cut them with a wheel. But, I'm sure cutting works as well too. Just wasn't needed in my case.
